When I was a small kid in the late 1970's, spending my vacations in São Leopoldo, people used to say that there weren't any outstanding BBQ restaurants around because gaúchos (the natives of Rio Grande do Sul) usually make their barbecues at home, so the demand just wasn't there. Now, more than three decades later, I have to admit this is just as true now as its was then - Schneider is supposed to be the best BBQ place, not only in São Leopoldo but in the whole greater Porto Alegre area. It is not. Mediocre meat cuts, an average but bland salad bar and lackluster service are the fare here. Prices are reasonable for the region, and a lot cheaper than in São Paulo and Rio (where you'll find the best meat in Brazil today), but the connoisseur will be disappointed.

If you can eat a good pizza in your house, you must to call Pratika Pizzaria. You can choose the thickness of your choice and the fillings are very generous.

Para comer muito e barato. O rodízio conta com muitas variedades de pizza e são muitos garçons sempre entregando mais e mais pizzas. Adoro muitos dos sabores que servem aqui. Porém, não espere um ambiente aconchegante e com atendimento personalizado, é um lugar bastante grande e um pouco barulhento. Considerando o preço, é das melhores relações custo-benefício da cidade.

Very Good restaurant in Sao Leopoldo.
Hard to believe that a small city like Sao Leopoldo has a fancy restaurant like this one. The restaurant is installed in a home, quite discrete and sober.
Very refined menu and good service.
The wine selection could be a little more wide.
Prices are fair but be prepared to wait for your meal. Last two times took me over one hour to receive the plates.

Comida do buffet é simples, alguns pratos são bons, mas na maioria diria que é apenas razoável. As carnes são um pouco melhores.

O estacionamento é conveniado e a poucos metros do restaurante, o pé direito é regulamentar, o Wifi é bem ruim e os toaletes descuidados.
O atendimento é bom.
Tem Buffet de pratos quentes, petiscos, saladas e frutas, sem nenhum destaque especial e ainda grelhados com carne muito nervosa, nas opções livre e por quilo.
Está inclusa uma opção de sopa bem elaborada e algumas opções de sobremesa com destaque para o excelente sagu.
O suco de laranja não estava muito ácido.

Lugar otimo para Almoço e Lanche, pois a batata frita e o Xis sao ótimos, assim como a alaminuta ao meio dia. Preço bom e acessível.

Temaki for R$10. the "ship" with 30 pieces is around R$50. At the place, You com eat as much you want.

Quer comer uma batata diferenciada, bem servida (mas pensa em bem) e tomando uma ceva estupidamente gelada? Vai no Rei da Batata! Além disso a gurizada é muito gente boa.
