There's not much to say except that we waited for over 15 minutes before we asked for someone to serve us. The restaurant only had a few tables. There were two waiters - the waiter completely ignored us and the waitress was less than accommodating- too much effort. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone simply because of bad service. Not acceptable at all.

Let's not get carried away here. This restaurant serves decent home cooked meals at reasonable prices. Nothing out of the ordinary. Vegetables are a bit overcooked and we shared the dining room with the local drunks at the bar. Service is friendly and helpful . Food is OK and prices correspond the quality.

I was visiting with family and some friends. Being Portuguese and loving traditional dishes, I have high standards and expectations. Also, we turned up quite late (around 10pm) and the service was excellent, the food was delicious and overall very good value. Personally I would recommend the limpts, octopus and Suriname cherry pie.

Situated on the Coast road to Seixel this is the last restaurant before you leave Sao Vicente and although it doesn't impress from outside appearance it is warm and friendly inside. The fresh sea foods are impressive and inexpensive. Give it a try!

Beautifully located and great views during dining as the restaurant revolves. We had octopus as a starter, excellent, soft and tasty. As mains we had grilled stone bass, fried espada and gratinated cod (bacaliau) We considered very big portions, we could hardly finish them. Well seasoned, fresh, juicy and soft... good cooks there. Maybe lacking the little imaginative note to make the dishes really special. Can definitely recommend!

We found this quite by chance, driving along the northern coast road of Madeira, and stopped for a light lunch...except they don't do light lunches in Madeira. What I expected of my grilled chicken was exceeded by the accompanying salad, then came a plate of chips, a dish of rice and a dish of cooked green vegetables...and, at €25 for two such meals - my wife had tuna with milo frito - exceptional value for money.

We were touring around the island and had a lunch time break. Called in here for sandwiches and coffee. Everything was good though the size of the sandwiches beat us. One between two would have been ample.
Service was good and the place is modern and well maintained.
All this for two cost 7 euros amazing.

We happened to stop at this place by fortune while driving along the north coast of Madeira. Good fortune. We had a great rice with shrimps big and small, mussels, clams, cockles, squid, octopus, crab,... Plus a bottle of young wine Quinta da Aveleda, a salad of fresh produce, dessert and coffees, all for 46,60€. So happy!

We visited galeriascafe in ponta delgada and enjoy a lot. Good selection of cocktails nice music and a very welcome barman call Norberto.in vintner only open weekend.

Acabamos por casualidad en este restaurante, está un poco difícil de encontrar. La experiencia no pudo ser mejor, una impresionante chuleta tiernisima y exquisita y un bacalao marinero delicioso, el dueño es un hombre encantador que nos contó un montón de historias siempre con una sonrisa y nos trató de maravilla, nos puso una degustacion de postres deliciosos y un licor de almendra con limón que nos encantó, incluso le compramos una botella para llevarnos. Si volvemos por la zona no dudaremos en visitarlo otra vez. A veces sin querer se descubren los mejores sitios.
