Sannat (Maltese: Ta' Sannat) is a village on the island of Gozo, Malta, with a population of 2,117 people (March 2014). Ta' Sannat is in the south of Gozo, popular for its very high cliffs, ancient cart ruts, temples and dolmens, and rich fauna and flora. In 1951 The Duchess of Edinburgh (who became Queen Elizabeth II) of the United Kingdom visited a house called "The Lace house" located in a small square in Ta' Sannat called "Pjazza Tax-Xelina".

Visited last Saturday with my family. We enjoyed our evening in a warm atmosphere with, as usual, outstanding cuisine. Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants to visit, always offering a nice ambiance, great service and a top class wine range. If you're planning on going on a Saturday evening, I suggest booking in advance to have indoor Seating. We booked late and were seated in the outdoor garden area which had a canopy and was heated. This area is a designated smoking area for diners, however our dinner was still enjoyable and we almost preferred the quiet and private Seating. Our choice of dishes for starters were Risotto, Fried Brie pillow, Salt and Pepper Squid and Chicken liver parfait. For main courses we chose Duck Breast which was fantastic, tasty and very tender, Fillet of beef and Tomahawk for two. For dessert we had the lemon tart, creme brule, apple tart and the special of the day, the bread and butter pudding. Well done Patrick as always! To enjoy a real steakhouse, don't miss out on this restaurant. They know how to get top quality meat cuts and know the secrets of cooking them to perfection!

Attended the restaurant for my wifes 60th together with friends. Firstly, Fati was exceptional. The greeting and initial rapporteur was spot on. However the additional waitress seemed a bit out of her depth but Fati soon took over. The food that we had was thoroughly enjoyed, well presented and delicious. We then accepted complimentary drinks on the house followed by "Happy Birthday" songs played over the restaurant speakers (which the the other diners happily participated in) If you are in Gozo it is certainly a place to seek out and one I will certainly attend again

We spent wonderful four days in Xaghra and Oleander was our favorite restaurant. It had a good menu offering daily specials featuring local fare to delight any foodie. Outdoor dining at night in this beautiful plaza was unforgettable. Don't forget to visit the Cathedral, the inside is not to be missed.

Situated right on the water's edge and next to the statue of St. Andrew in the fishermen's area of the bay, The Boat House Restaurant is ably run by Joseph Attard and his wife Rose. It has established itself as a must visit restaurant when visiting Gozo by Maltese and foreigners alike. The location enjoys the warm Sunshine on winter afternoons and romantic sunsets. The choice of starters and main courses is endless. On top of that, there are the 'Specialities of the Day'. The fish display is a clear statement about the freshness of the daily catch. All items on the menu are prepared with ingredients of the highest quality. The selection of in-house desserts is tempting. The Wine List includes a large variety of local and foreign wines to please all wine lovers. Service is professional, fast and efficient but not rushed. Open for late lunches. The opening hours listed on this page are valid from 1st April up to 31st October. More detailed opening hours on website or facebook page.

Gelateria Granola is a family run business in the heart of Xlendi. We offer a selection of over 40 different flavors of ice-cream and sorbets, and also many more mouth-watering desserts.
Went here on a couple of hot afternoons and was impressed by the range of ice-creams and sorbets. A must to try, even if you're only here for a short while. On the main town square not far from the bus stop - go on!

The maître d' wisely and kindly suggested we book earlier due to a group of 40 arriving which we did. Portions were substantial and prepared well.
Surprisingly the cost was reasonable considering the stunning location and being part of Ta Cenc Hotel.
It’s all outdoors - recommend seasonal clothing.

Popular with expats and locals alike this small restaurant serves excellent typically English fare. I like it because the Geordie owner has Newcastle Brown Ale as well as super fish and chips, served with bread and butter. Can’t get any better!!thank you for your great review the Diamond crew.

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, great wine. Felt so at home here as we stayed in the sleepy village of Sannat....felt like a local by the time we left. One evening in Rosina's we were a very international group, Canadian, Australian, German, Slovenian, Jersey UK - fantastic memories. Rosina and Rose are wonderful hostesses and so warm hearted.
