We love doughnuts and we love Sandra's. It's not a specialty doughnut shop that would have a Maple Bacon or something of that sort (like Ducks) but more in line with Dunkin and Krispy Kreme. The doughnuts are cooked like Krispy Kreme but bigger and fluffier. The taste is out of this world. Never a bad trip and never here any of the locals complain. I'd recommend them under any circumstance. (My personal favorite is the Maple Iced).

It has much the feel the first time I walked into the Fairview Dairy Bar in Sanford, NC in 1972. My uncle's father lived there and told me they had some of the best burgers, sandwiches and plate lunches on the planet. Mr. Birch Knott was right! For about 45 years when in Sanford for broadcast college, later when teaching at the college or just visiting friends or passing through, the Dairy Bar has never disappointed.
There are those of us who felt like crying a few years back when the place burned. But I'm here to tell you they are back!
The restaurant has that homey, diner feel and folks still speak and even talk to one another. Even the kids weren't thumbing their phones. And I call that real ambience.
The food is sinfully delightful! And most of the time, the service is good. After all, this place stays busy.
At the corner of Carthage Street and Carbonton Road, it's not hard to find and worth the search! Tell 'em Timberlake sent you!

Have been here several times with the kids for ice cream treats. Always great ice cream! Ordered from the grill the other day and even though it took a bit, ( pretty busy place) the food was hot, correct and tasty. It's not a fancy joint and the food is small grill type food, but it definitely hit the spot. The booths are older and customized ( lot of carvings and such), but give this place personality. More importantly, I'll go back without hesitation. Kids love it and its a feel good place.

Busy restaurant and there is a reason why. From delicious tea to amazing soup, today was lobster bisque. I bring new people there every time I go and everyone is sorry that they did not find this local gem sooner.

We come here on a monthly basis. The owner, Mike Davison, is always here and making sure everything goes smoothly. Our favorite waitress is Mallory -- she is the BEST -- hands down. We come here for dinner all the time and my husband comes here for work lunches. We had a wedding shower here and our rehearsal dinner. This place is perfect for larger parties, but also for intimate dinners. They're family friendly, too. We can not recommend it highly enough!

We actually enjoy the restaurant, so when my daughter visited from out of town, I called in an order to save time during her stay. I was told that it would be 25 minutes and gave my cell phone number. Since our home is about 25 minutes from the restaurant, it was a good option. It was 1:40 and we were starving, too. When we arrived, the cashier was surprised since she had no call in order. She went to check with another lady and then came back to say that the lady had forgotten to put it in. There was no real regret for the mistake, only a statement that she could put it in then and it would be another 20 minute wait. I fully undertand that mistakes happen, but if you make one, have a backup plan in place for such events and at least maybe offer a drink or something as an apology. This was really poor, poor customer service.

We went to the Flame based upon a recommendation from a customer. He was on point! We were underdressed for dinner. We had come directly after work. Nevertheless we were seated. Had an awesome dinner! Everyone in our group enjoyed what we had. (No leftovers all was to good to not finish.) The salad bar was awesome. Steak was so tender and flavorful! Excellent!! We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time dressed more appropriately. Again the food was excellent! Enjoyed the open grill so you could see your food being cooked. Definitely will eat here again if the wind blows us back to Sanford. Exceptional place to eat!

Found this restaurant in a search for Mexican on trip advisor as we needed to stop for dinner on a road trip. It was excellent. Traditional combos and specials available. My husband had shrimp and mango tacos which were awesome. I had a grilled chicken burrito that did not have too many ingredients. The chicken was the stand out part as it was delicious. Polite staff that were very helpful. Bathrooms very clean and beautifully decorated.

Super sweet spot! Waitress was very attentive even though she was the only one. Food was great!!! We ordered, a BLT with a side of smashed potatoes, husband got a pullpork sandwich. He like it a lot! Most places slapped the BBQ on their sandwiches. This one did not. Got a flight of beer. I really like the brown cow! Yum!
Great lunch spot! I think this is my first 5 star so I hope you enjoy! Good vibes!

We have had our office party here a few times and I haven't been greatly impressed. The food is okay but the staff at times are on edge with bigger crowds. I can understand sometimes groups can get overwhelming. Prices are a little high to me based on the food. Personally I do not eat shrimp and grits but everyone I know that has had theirs loves them.
