We had been looking for a while for a Portuguese restaurant... a restaurant with the flavors of NJ's Ironbound Portuguese eateries. I guess we hadn't looked hard enough because Emidio's is the jewel we had been looking for and just discovered. When we walked in we could sense that this is a special comfortable restaurant: cozy warm colors, oil paintings, nice place settings, background jazz music. I felt like I passed through a gateway into Europe.
The staff were warm, knowledgeable and very helpful..not stuffy. Pedro took the time to explain the dishes and specials, and he was very informative. Again very friendly and attentive.
Originally we were going to order off the menu. We were interested in seafood and decided to have the specials: cataplana and the snapper. The cataplana was served from the traditional cataplana cookware at our table, and the salmon clams scallops shrimp and mussels were fresh and succulent. The flavors exceeded our expectations. The snapper dish came with cabbage, ratatouille, a large whipped potato croquette. Both dishes were excellent!!
We absolutely enjoyed this dinner. And we look forward to coming back!
We came on a friday evening & did not have difficulty being seated, but we understand that Saturday could be a bit busier

If you are looking for a health-conscious meal that is sensitive to your waistband yet want a mid-range dining experience without all the heaviness that comes with a mid-to-higher range restaurant, give Seasons 52 a try. Favorites include the flat bread, soups, and grilled scallops.

Love the pizza and salads in this casual strip mall place. Large covered patio with heaters when not too cold!

Great experience for lunch with kabob's excellent, vegetarian stew with okra, spinach and lentils was very tasty. Get the rice with cranberries and thin candied orange slices. Expensive for $19 but you do get a free appetizer with walnuts, feta, mint, thyme and freshly baked pita bread. Waitress was very attentive despite the crowd on a Saturday. Disappointed that they force you to valet your car for $2 and want a tip on top of that. Will consider going to the one in Alpharetta where parking is free. Menu has changed from a year ago.

This place was absolutely packed. One of those we won’t seat you unless the whole party is here. We met to do some business and the waitstaff was very pleasant. Two of three of the people who went were hungry a half hour after leaving. The portions are a little small for a brunch.

Fabulous neighborhood burger place!!
Secluded in residential East Cobb county, this burger joint is truly a find. We were celebrating a farewell for my fiancé’s coworker and really enjoyed this spot. You walk up to place your order and can get somewhat overwhelmed with all of the different options especially if there is a line behind you. You can either build your own burger or order a specialty burger that’s already on the menu. Instead of building my own, I ordered the Moxie Burger - angus beef, pimento cheese, fried green tomato, bacon, Moxie sauce and I added onion straws. Bomb! I also got the 50/50 option for my sides with half fried pickles and fried zucchini. To die for. I live within the city but I could see myself visiting this place again. Also, the beers are cheap. They don’t serve liquor but they do have a good wine and beer selection. Staff was very friendly and the patio is kid and dog friendly.

Freshly made pasta for all to see, is the highlight of this wonderful restaurant from Chef Jamie Adams and Leonardo Moura, both veterans of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group. il Giallo Osteria & Bar also serves Coastal Italian fare in a relaxed but elegant setting in the heart of Sandy Springs
As a first generation American Italian I know what perfect Italian food tastes like, what homemade pasta should be - and this restaurant has perfected it! Even though this is in a shopping center location do not be fooled - the minute you walk inside you're transported into a dining experience like none other. The dining room is warm and comfortable with views of the kitchen and pasta and read making area. Our server Alli along with the rest of the staff allows for a relaxed experience with friends.
My wife had the duck ravioli that was perfect. The duck was smoked on the big green egg out back that we saw when we drove up, and the flavor and presentation was spot on.
I had the lasagna with short rib which is nothing like a traditional lasagna but perfect in combining the lasagna pasta with cheeses, sauce, and the most tender flavorful short rib that cut with a fork.
Our friends had the gnocchi and the lasagna bolognese and both were incredible dishes too.
Dessert was split with their bread pudding and their hazelnut bars and both were quite good.
What a classic Italian dinner! Great food, wine, and comfortable conversation with friends.
Don't miss this gem for a true Italian dining experience!! Well done chef Jamie Adams.

I've never had an average experience at a Cheesecake Factory until now...disappointing bc my boyfriend had never been to a CCF and I raved about how they are so yummy everywhere...then we came here and the food was just average, service was average...wait was long for everything! And, yes, there's always a wait at a CCF bc they are crowded and busy but service has always been outstanding and the food amazing...until now. Our server, Zachery, talked about how he had to do everything from taking our order to running our food to bussing his own table. We felt like an inconvenience for him...sorry. For the record we had the loaded baked potato tots, fried catfish, chicken littles and carrot cheesecake...average eats on this occasion. I guess all CCF aren't created equal.

Hammocks Trading Company is the choice for high quality seafood in North Atlanta. Local owners Jason Sheetz and William Sigley pride themselves on great food, service, bar, and atmosphere. Together they have 50 years of restaurant experience at the best restaurants in Atlanta and Las Vegas. Hammocks combines our attention to detail with a casual neighborhood feel. Our most reviewed items include the BBQ Oysters and the Baked Salmon. Both were reviewed in the AJC and on Atlanta Eats. Our menu features cuisine from the southern coastal regions of the United States. Gumbo, Shrimp and Grits are just a few examples. Our fresh veggies include fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and collard greens. The grouper sandwich has become known as the best in town. Our other sandwiches include the Crispy Shrimp or Oyster Po-Boys, Lobster Roll, Smoked Chicken Salad and the Salmon BLTA. We are family friendly and have options for all ages. Every item from the kitchen is made from scratch.
Despite the lack of decor and kitchen floor cleanliness this establishment serves up excellent flavors and a great variety of seafood. Wahoo is rare on Atlanta menus and if ordered at the correct medium is a must eat grilled fish. The grilled and parchment baked salmon are both excellent and the parchment baked is a unique dish and large serving. Side dishes are exceptional including the creamed corn, grits, asparagus and several more. The vegetables in the parchment salmon include potatoes, broccoli and parsnips leading to interesting flavors and a beautiful presentation. Several reviews cited poor service but our experience was adequate service to good. The wine and drink list is extensive and the white Burgundy is worth the price. Dessert was a treat with New Orleans style bananas' Foster! We will be back and hope you will try it.
