Visiting the area overnight and wanted something different. I know, pizza is different? Well, we stumbled upon this place (not much to look at from the outside) and but ended up eating here twice - once on our way to vacation and another on our way back home. When you walk in the door, staff makes you immediately welcome. The place is plain but very clean and nice. Staff was very attentive and polite both times - a little rare in today's restaurant business. The pizza - its unique and unlike anything I've ever had before. The ingredients are very fresh, not canned. The house speciality pizzas are unique and we tried the prosciutto and arugula pizza - its unlike anything I've eaten before - just fantastic! The service is fast and the pricing is very fair. I loved this so much, I wish they would move to the Chicago-metro area - there are some local pizza places who could definitely learn a lot from this outstanding restaurant. If you're in Sandusky, you really need to try this place - you will not be disappointed.

We went with friends for an evening of great food, conversation and atmosphere. This place exceeded our expectations. Authentic Italian cuisine. While waiting for our reservation we went downstairs to their bar where we had a friendly bar tender and awesome drinks. They had a appetizer station set up with some crackers, cheese and some sort of artichoke dish. Upstairs we had excellent service as well. The food was out of this world and can't wait to return.

I had read some very good reviews about this place before visiting Sandusky so we decided to give this restaurant a try. The food and friendliness of this place exceeded our expectations. Very good selection of foods, excellent homemade desserts along with a very nice, friendly staff. I was talking to a couple just before going in who have regularly come into this place for the past several years. This is a no frills restaurant with great food and very reasonable prices.

Recommended by the desk clerk at our hotel, our group of 3 agree that this is a great place to eat. Menu offered a wide variety of Italian fare in various price ranges. Pizza, calzones, and various pasta dishes were included. We all chose from the create your own pasta menu. One had a half order spaghetti with marinara. One had angel hair with meat sauce. I ordered a half order of angel hair with shrimp in garlic butter sauce with tomatoes and basil which also came with marinara sauce which I had on the side and also an extra house salad. All agreed the food was wonderful, The full order came with salad included in the price. For 3 dinners the bill was about $49.00 including our non-alcoholic drinks. The half orders were plenty filling for us. The one person who opted for the full order left about half of it due to being full. Did it have dessert, too full!

We came here with a group of 7 on the recommendation of a friend who raved about the beer selection and pricing. Our group tried several appetizers and a variety of dishes, mostly with an Asian flair. Everything was delicious and the service was top-notch--thank you, Sarah!

We are always looking for good places to meet up as a family between Toledo and Cleveland. This was a great night out! We all had the buffet - great variety of pizza and wings. They kept bringing out more pizza options. It also included salad bar and a drink. It was fun to see all of the high schools represented on the walls with jerseys.

This spot is located right out one of the South Gates of Cedar Point (also accessible without going through the park). We love coming here during the day spent at the park. It is far cheaper than any option in the park and just a close walk. We have never had to wait by coming in for a late lunch to take a break from the heat and enjoy a cold beer.

Located at the City of Sandusky's Paper District Marina, this seasonal concession stand is located along the shore of the Sandusky Bay (off Lake Erie). Drive, walk, bike or boat in for lunch or dinner. Order at the counter, get your beverage, and your name will be called when your order is ready! Beautiful sunsets... one of the best spots in town to enjoy the view.
While on vacation after a long day at Cedar Point, we stopped by the Dockside Cafe for dinner. The outside cafe is perched on the banks of Lake Erie with incredible views during the sunset.
We ordered the walleye fish tacos. It took awhile for our order to come out and the place was not that busy. However, once the order arrived, it was worth the wait. The fish was delicately fried with an amazing sauce covering the catch with cabbage in between the a flour tortilla. We also ordered some fries which were freshly cut and seasoned just right.
If you are looking for a casual place for a meal with a few drinks by the water, you can not go wrong at the Dockside Cafe.

Enjoyed a sunny day of traveling to Sandusky and dining at a new place. Burgers were $7 and came with choice of potato and coleslaw. Husband had the Philly Burger and gave it a thumbs up. I had the Smothered Chicken Sandwich; onions and mushrooms and cheese served with chips and pasta salad. Also good but I'd get some kind of sauce on the chicken sandwich if I ordered again. Service was attentive and friendly by a young lady doubling as a bartender. The place obviously markets to tourists during season as you can tell by all their drink and souvenier specials but it was clean and bright and enjoyable. Wines were priced right at $5, too.
