We loved sitting in the shade of the big trees outside on the restaurant's Terrace. They have great drinks, tasty sandwiches, and really good salads. This is definitely the healthy place to eat in this cute little town! Also super affordable! Two thumbs up :)

This is quite elegant place with very good service and nice selection of meats and wines; maybe this is not a 5*, but really good place; we've been here twice and that was good choice.

The mansion restaurant features Old Polish and regional cuisine. The exquisite dishes of Sarmathian cuisine perfectly harmonise with the history of the mansion hotel, dating back to the middle of the 19th century. The air-conditioned “Rastauracja Sarmacka”, paying tribute to the mansion’s historic character, offers space for 80 guests in a unique ambience with a view over the courtyard, the Lantern of Chocim, and the surrounding park.
Restaurancja Sarmacka is the restaurant for Hotel Sarmata in Sandomierz. Atmosphere is fairly formal and white table cloth, but the quality of the food doesn't match the atmosphere. Service was efficient though not particularly friendly. The kitchen was slow in delivering. There is a good well-priced wine list. We enjoyed a South African red blend for 75 zl. Horseradish and mushroom soups were fairly good. But our entrees, a roasted ham hock (golonka) and pork with cream sauce were overcooked, dry, and bland. Vegetables were poorly done. This restaurant isn't worthy of the hotel.

Basztowa Restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate important events and family celebrations. Restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, a wide range of dishes and delicious desserts. You can enjoy the atmosphere of a stylish, air-conditioning restaurant Seating 70 persons with magnificent views of the meandering Vistula River and picturesque hills of the Old Town of Sandomierz.
Clean hotel and restaurant in a lovely part of Sandomier historical center. Basic rooms but clean and well located. BUT seeing its been open over ten years it is still a bit dated in its approach. Restaurant menu is a bit tired and lacks finesse, breakfast is very basic. No real bar area, just a few tables and chairs. Staff seem a bit shocked if you ask for a drink. Could be so much better.Needs refreshing and bringing up to modern hotel approaches. Its a bit clinical and would benefit with a more relaxed and warm approach.

This is a lovely café in a perfect location on the Rynek in Sandomierz. Staff were friendly and efficient and the coffee was perfect.

Small, unpretentious eatery on the side street of the Main Square. Only few tables in- and outside and some chairs at the bar. The menu consists of some cold starters, delicious pancakes, both with vegetables and sweet ingredients. Also pretty nice list of fresh prepared salads. Healthy food and good quality products at reasonable prices.

Nicely surprised with the quality of the food. Very tasty and fresh. Unfortunately some of the items on the menu were not available or it would take much longer to prepare that we would like to wait for. Pierogies are very very good. Cod in batter herbal fresh and tasty, the ribs stewed in honey-mustard souse are soft and tasty and the pork loin stuffed with prunes in lemon sauce was just excellent. Very friendly staff and they do accept credit cards. I would definitely recommend this establishment for good, fresh and inexpensive food.

we went 7 people, including 3 kids.
Local with great atmospehere, located in a "cave" in the Rynek of Sandomierz. Restaurant type "slow food": short menu but assorted enough, with very good raw (local) ingredients.
Managed by young people, service is absolutely 5 stars. They try to please all your requests with a smile.
We ordered food for 5 adults (soup+main), and some nuggets for kids. Presentation is simple but really cool. We paid 160pln for all (under 40euro). Excellent value for the money. Had myself a hamburger which was absolutely amazing.
We went there thanks to tripadvisor, and I confirm that the high marked achieved by this spot, is well deserved.
Will come back again there whenever I will be again in town.
