In our palate can taste excellent dishes, but be patient, our cuisine is organic (charcoal), all meals are prepared at the time you order them, even view of the customer. For a pleasant stay we suggest options bar while listening to live music beautiful traditional trinitarian.
I was hungry and my other half wasn’t, but we had a great value meal here. There was spicy curry inspired food on the menu and lassi to drink. So we did. More yoghurt less alcohol! The music was gentle and attractive, and the whole...MoreHello We are very pleased to know that our kitchen has been your favorite, especially Indian dishes. Thank you for choosing us and writing this opinion. Best regards Management Sol y Son

This is a paladar in Trinidad.Local phone is 041998281
We popped in for lunch after first trying Paladar Museum, which was close the Sunday lunchtime we visited. The staff were busy cleaning the restaurant for the evening opening and I asked for a lunchtime recommendation. The young waiter spoke perfect English and directed me to Sol Ananda close by. What as wonderful recommendation. Eating here is like stepping back in time because you are surrounded by antiques and old furniture. The food is delicious and the waiting staff really friendly. Try the grilled fish, perfect. The Cuban style chicken is a really special, too (we always share each others food). Recommended.

How could we not go into a restaurant with this super cool name! Better still, live music and with only a few tables and guests, quite intimate compared to other nearby tourist venues. The food was good value and quality. The beer was cold and the staff attentive. How many places in the world do you get a complimentary Cuban cigar at the meals end instead of an after dinner mint. Wake up, shake your butt and go visit the Wakey Wakey Shakey Shakey!

A beautiful restaurant in colonial house that bring you back in time.
The tables are well dressed (old China, silver forks and knives), the interior is beautifully decorated with old oil lamps and little statues while a band is playing typical Cuban music.
It is clear this restaurant is fancier (and pricier) than your average restaurant in Trinidad.
The service is very professional. Waiters are well dressed and have attention to detail.
We had spicy chicken and a porc steak for dinner. Although the both plates were tasty and well presented, both chicken and porc were over cooked. I expected better especially given everything else was good.

Es el unico restaurante en Trinidad que oferta comidas japonesas ( sushis ) ofertamos el ceviche peruano. Nos especializamos en mariscos.
We came at the busy dinner period- service was slow and a bit confused. The food was extremely average- very plain and not a lot of flavour. We went vegetarian, and i'd say this is NOT their specialty.

One of the local staff at our hotel recommended this place to us, we would never have found it on our own. We were hesitant driving through a local village which was half way between Trinidad and Playa Ancon but we were so pleasantly surprised on arrival. It had a beautiful outdoor setting, and an open kitchen so you could watch your meals be prepared and cooked. The staff were lovely and the food was the best we had in Trinidad. They butterflied the lobster on the grill and had a range of sauces you could choose from. Prices are more expensive than what you might pay in the village, but for lobster I found it very reasonable. It was worth the taxi ride and great to escape to a local spot away from the really touristy areas. It felt like an authentic experience.

People are queuing to this place while most other restaurants have barkers working on the streets in vain. The atmosphere is lively and homey like in a tavern or a beer house. Long wooden tables and benches. Live music. Efficient and friendly service. Food by Cuban standards pretty good and not over-priced despite the popularity.

Finding this fabulous little coffee bar was definately a holiday highlight. Coffee was by far the best we tasted in Cuba with such an extensive coffee menu. A little oasis and perfect place to relax. Often very busy and we had to wait but happy to do so.

A bizarre restaurant in a prominent place. When we walked in, the restaurant was almost empty. But the two bored waitresses sat at the table and played with the mobile. We stood for about three minutes but completely ignored us. We left with disgust. Never more.
