The menu is fixed and includes the traditional dishes. Worth noting were the desserts made with fried dough and served with apple and jam.

Everything was perfect: a stylish rifugio with spotless facilities and great food. The owners pay a lot of attention to details: the room are tastefully decorated, even if tiny. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and calm. An excellent spot for those who walk Alta Via 1.

Driven by the Fab reviews, the Mages were really looking forward to this. The bar and restaurant and staff are all positively charming. Smaller room with chimney really nice. The mage started with a pasta with a beef ragout and Mrs Mage with Ravioli. Both dishes were really heavy and didn't have the depth of flavour as expected. Main courses were roast beef and roast pork. The pork, to be fair, was very good but the beef, while a very generous portion, wasn't above average. The best thing was the 2014 "Mauracher" which is a very good Dark Lagrein and at 29 euros was good value.

This is a very specific cuisine and not really Austrian or Tyrolean. Never before have we been offered Tultra crauti and Tultra spinaci - a sort of deep fried flatbread with sauerkraut or spinach. Also the Crafun were novel: a doughnut with a meaty filling. We also appreciated the tartar of venison - we felt squeamish at first but really liked it! The main courses were all good - I really liked my lamb cutlets - very soft and flavoursome. The wines and dessert wines were good as was the coffee. I was just a little disappointed with the desserts - although talked up by the waiter, they were a little ordinary. The waiter was very friendly and enthusiastic. He explained everything in great detail and helped with wine recommendations. However, 6 adults and 3 children = 397.70 Euros...

Steak house,Tradizioni con cucina innovativa, piatti vegetariani, particolare attenzione dei prodotti locali.
Great Place!!!
Traditional food, amazing and very welcoming customer service.
A little bit pricey but worth it.
Our waiter was very helpful and nice.
The restaurant offer a starter on them.
All the food is very tasty, the portions are big enough, I highly advice the "zuppa di cipolle" (onion soup).
The wine list is amazing!
Enjoy it

Ladin farm, in the heart of the Dolomites, located directly on the ski slopes, possibility 'lunch for passersby and dinners by reservation, panoramic view, own products.
Domestic atmosphere, local "Ladin" cuisine. Meals done from meat and vegetable produced on the farm. We realy enjoyed local cuisine. In addition to realy good meals is unforgettable view on San Vigilio. Prices are affordable. We will come back again.

The Restaurant Pizzeria Erika is an elegant restaurant located in downtown San Vigilio with good food and welcome. We are at your disposal with a huge choice of local menu prepared with care.
Very extensive menu, lots a diversity. Some pizzas also come with buffel mozerella but they also serve lots of different pasta dishes and even things you normally find in Austria like schnitzel.
Well prepared dishes, very small remarks like my starter (lasagne with bacon) was a little bit to salty and the pizza crust was a little bit to moist.
But besides all that, we both had a good meal and definitaly is good enough to come back to this restaurant.
Service is pleasant, with a smile, so good from that point of view

We had lunch here after a thrilling afternoon of zip lining through the Mountains. The staff was very kind, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is very charming, though we ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I would recommend this place!

Beautiful stube inside and very nice food. Proper Tyrolean food cooked while you wait so do not expect to get served quickly, allow some time. In the winter only way to arrive is by skiing...book in advance is always full...

Recently extended and refurbished (they are still working at the North extension), this rifugio is a must on the Alta Via numero 1, the oldest and most traditional series of high altitude tracks in the Dolomites. As such, it is popular and still offers all the amenities one expects - and deserves - after walking for hours on steep gradients. We stopped there for lunch on a beautiful October day and had it on the veranda, under a fantastic Sunshine. The food was fantastic - and plenty of it - , the service very friendly and kind, the price very reasonable. Will be there again!
