Found this little gem on Google maps when we were looking for a place to eat some tapas. We went there bang on 8pm and I'm so glad we did as it was already almost full. We got the last table! Service was fast and lovely. We tried our luck with the Spanish menu but they have an English version that you can easily use if you're not a Spanish speaker. The staff speaks English so no worries if you can't say more than the basic stuff. We had a few tapas each and they were brought in really fast and they were so so so good! We also had the dessert of the day, carrot cake, and that was quite lovely too! Not what we were expecting but super yummy. Prices were as expected. Would recommend to anyone.

This restaurant has excellent fish and great service. The rations are very generous. For fish at a reasonable price it's in my opinion the best there is. On the downside the setting is canteen like and can get very noisy when full which is most of the time. My suggestion is to go early and beat the crowd

After visiting the Zoo we stop in order to have a quick lunch with my kids.
I had the ceasar salad - asked without bacon and it came also without chicken,, but it had more sauce than lettuce... it was impossible to eat it.
we had other few tapas that was ok, nothing special. but its no ta place i would comeback for sure.

Its a great place in a very nice ambient. Its located next to Polo fields and lots of greenery. For sure one of the better places in the area. The food presentation is good and the steak quality was also fantastic. Again this is in comparison to what else is available within that region. A bit pricy but its made up for by the location. Not bad to go to for special occasions.

Visited with family and friends (7) for dinner in June. My local prawns were excellent as was the sole my wife had. Octopus and bream not quite so good. Interesting location with amazing view of Gibraltar from the beach but spoiled by the oil installations!

Visiting over the Christmas Holidays by lucky chance the full Thai menu was offered at lunchtime rather than evenings only so we jumped at the chance to spoil ourselves.
Suri and her team provide a lovely welcome and the service is excellent.
Although it was New years Day; the weather was good enough to sit outside and the 2 lit ovens made for a lovely warm atmosphere.
We shared starters of Spring Rolls and Crispy Prawns which were both delicious and came with delicious dips.
Then we shared a Penang Curry made with Sirloin of Beef which was outstanding. We felt a bit cheeky asking for the sublime sauce that remained to be packaged up for takeaway; but it was done with a smile and will be reheated and poured over our Chicken dinner at home tonight.
Great venue - super staff and excellent food.

I've been to El Rincon De Juan several times during my six months working in Gibraltar, and this is for sure the best place for tapas in La Linea de la Conception. Sure not the cheapest you can find, but the cost is still accessible to anyone and the food absolutely the finest. Pay a visit to this place if you find yourself in town!

The food is very good and great value compared to its nearby neighbours.
We can order from memory as sadly the menu hasn't changed in almost three years.
Mind you; if it ain't broke - don't fix it!
So Goats Cheese, Mixed Leaves and seeds Salad it was, followed by Hoummus and Prawns: then the heavenly and divine Jalufo Ribs. Lastly a Mini Burger to share.
With three drinks there was still change from €25 plus tip.
Service is prompt and the place always has a buzz at lunchtimes when we visit. Just more comfortable high stools would be nice but hey the food is what we come for.

We decided to give this restaurant another chance.
I am glad that we did although it was not perfect
We were struggling with what to have as a starter......we didn't really want calamari or similar as we have an amazingly well priced and tasty go to for that type of food...and actually the same for cheese and ham etc... so refuse to pay the prices they were asking. So we were actually a little stuck with what to have, until the waiter told us of whitebait as a special - so we went for that and it was very tasty, although not the type of starter we really wanted before a steak but never mind ....
The steaks were beautifully presented and very tasty, although I will have to ask them to go easy on the pepper next time as it was a little too much!
The desserts were also beautifully presented and very tasty.
I am sure we will be back one day but I am not sure how quickly!

Mytilus is currently open on Monday to Saturday for dinner, and on Sunday for lunch and dinner.
Booked on the recommendation of a local friend and as the Belgians have a wonderful food tradition had expectations of some good franco cooking.
Were offered three separate menu's on arrival which was messy - the standard mixed Mediterranean so called A La Carte; an all inclusive festive menu and a 'game menu' - 2 of the 7 items were not available.
Perhaps bizarrely we opted for Gambas Pil Pil from the Main Menu - very tasty if a bit touristy and Wild Boar Stew from the Game Menu - grey brown tasteless pieces of who knows what meat in a grey watery dish, not at all appetising.
Followed this with what used to be called Crepe Suzette - nice enough.
Conclusion, never order game in a tourist restaurant by the port and don't expect much from a tourist restaurant by the port.
Most expensive meal of the week at €124.00 for two - you decide.......we have
