If I were a tourist, I would be disappointed of this place. Waiters were slow, and the food, which is typical of Argentina (ASADO, Grilled meat) is so badly prepared. The meat, as it's custom, is brought in a little grill for the table, but the meat is like "boiled" and has little taste. There are far better options for a "Dia de Campo"...

"La campiña" is a large extension of citric trees with restaurant, greenhouse, roses field and sweets factory, made with their own fruits. The owners are two famous radio and TV journalists (Monica Mihanoch and Cesar Masseti), who decided to make a change of life, leaving their jobs and lifes in Buenps Aires city and moving to San Pedro.
We expended the whole day there, arrived near 11am. Took lunch at 2:30 pm and countinued walking arround.until it closed near 6pm.
They have guided tours, but we were delayed for both of them, so visited the place by our own.
For lunch you need to make a reservation. Its has a fixed price and you can choose between 3 or 4 options, we went for the BBQ and it was good.

When we arrived it was plenty of people, including couples, families with children, and groups of friends. The place was nice and not too noise although the crowd.
We ordered four different that were ok in size but not too tasty; in a few words: nothing to write home about.
It was right for a fast meal, and the prices were very adequate!!!

It's a cozy restaurant but the service is average. The food is fine, but nothing extraordinary. Try looking for somethin else.

It was a good new experience knowing ensaimadas as they apparently are pretty famous around buenos aires. This place makes the best I've tried and since they are the best in San Pedro, and the town is the home of ensaimadas, I'd say it's the best ever.

I went with my family together with a group of friends to enjoy a day out of the city in the country side and have a great Argentine lunch. We were not disappointed at all... Everything was much more than we had expected. The staff was great and friendly. Definitely a MUST go if you would like to check out the suburbs and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere after a great Argentine asado...and wine..... We will certainly return soon.

The view is nice, but you can get it only from a few tables. The place is like the bar of a basic sport club. The service is in the limit. Price: is not very cheap. For next time if I want view and good fish I will chose another place, for example a very popular hotel also in the Riverside.

Acá hay un problema serio. Grave.

A highly popular restaurant, it offers several 'stations', where one can have grilled meats, seafood, pasta, gourmet dishes, salad, sushi and desserts. The place is modern, with high ceilings and friendly atmosphere.Frank thank you very much for your comment.
