My wife and I manage to eat at the Shangra-la every time we are in Makati. Great steak restaurant. Similar to the best in the USA. Ribeyes are outstanding.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times . It is located in the Edsa Shangrila Hotel. The food is excellent and the restaurant is quite big is accommodates big families. It offers traditional lauriat Chinese food including appetizers and dimsum. Service is average .

The location and the environment is nice, we have chosen a la carte to try. The starter were good and so the dessert, but we were quite disappointed by the main course, the fish was not well cooked and the presentation not so nice... Also the service was quite fast, but too fast: we have just started our drinks that the starters were served...
Overall, it was good, but not excellent and we expect for this price in Manila to have a bit more in terms of taste, texture and presentation.

Master chefs prepare authentic Chinese dishes at lunch and dinner, including signature roast duck. Our Dim Sum Unlimited lunch buffet, with over 55 dim sum selections, is popular for business luncheons and quick meals.
Very consistent. Quality ingredients in every dish. Does not fail to impress throughout the years.
Alhough became a bit pricey compared to before. Prices have increased drastically.
I'd like to acknowledge server named Roa. Very good service! Always checks and asks if there's any help needed. Very alert and quick to serve. Friendly and pleasant attitude. Great service!
Overall, Xin Tian Di still one of the best when it comes to Chinese Food.

Corner Tree Cafe is a Vegetarian / Vegan Cafe. We serve food from Asia to Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas in a cosy intimate setting. We also offer good wines, local beers and some house cocktails. You don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy our delicious food. In fact most of our customers are omnivores, but vegetarians will feel right at home here (we also serve some gluten-free dishes). To add to our regular menu, we have weekly specials sometimes inspired by current events or international days. Booking is advisable. Children welcome.
Decided to try this one out of curiosity. I ordered spinach and mushroom lasagna, country fries, and mango shake. The lasagna tasted pretty good, considering there's no meat in it. Country fries goes really well with the mayo (?) that comes with it. The mango shake is sweet enough to my liking. I also tasted their award winning salted caramel chocolate torte, and it tastes delicious.
Kinda expensive to eat here, though.
I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but wow, the food served by Corner Tree Cafe makes me want to try being one or the other. Eating healthy felt so good here!

I usualy come to this place because most of my friends chose to have the reception here after the christening. Great selection of food. The place is not that big but still it gives you the cozy feeling of the old houses.

Been visiting Kimpura since I was a child.
I must say this is one restaurant whose quality do not change. The food is still fantastic year on year. I cannot fault them with anything. Good service good food. Sukiyaki is not overly sweet, Tempura is not overly breaded. The gindara teppanyaki is excellent. Japanese fried rice very good. Book a teppanyaki table and enjoy!

My Kitchen at the Oasis offers a wide selection of international dishes and a contemporary Mediterranean dining experience. Come visit us and enjoy! The cuisine by Chef James and his team
this will be one of our go-to restaurants because my hubby and daughter (who are picky eaters) loved their food. it's a little bit pricey but the food was great. a single order is good for sharing if you are not a big eater. i just wanted to point out one thing during our first visit, there was an inconsistency on the servings of arugula and alfalfa. the first time i tried it with my husband, i was disappointed because the serving of arugula and alfalfa wasnt even enough to top 3 slices of panizza, as in no exaggeration on my part ha, super konti talaga!!! yung feeling na leftover lang sya ng kabilang table, ganun kakonti, as in! i did not complain because i didnt want to ruin our date night and i didnt want my hubby to feel disappointed too. i was thinking also, maybe standard serving nila is ganun. but when we tried again, the actual serving pala is 3x more than what we got on our first try! now, can you imagine how little we got during the first try?! good thing the panizza was good because if not, we will not even be trying for the second time or the third time.... the ambiance of the restaurant is good, i just dont like the comfort room. for the price of the food and the cozy ambiance of the restaurant, they could actually make a better comfort room that will suit the place.

Treated my closed friends for a belated bday treat & decided to dine at yabu. Since it was my bday we decided to order the more expensive food combinations, food arrived as ordered except my friend's dont hve the oyster Which she was waiting to try, they apologize & replace with prawn since oyster was not available.notwithstanding we enjoyed lunch with unlimited cabbage salad & some fruits. We were so full. While chatting past lunch time around 2pm 2 waiters were mopping the floor which smell like clorox or lysol which ruin my food satisfaction. There were other diners too. I cant stand the smell so we left & had coffee elswere instead of ordering from them.OVERALL food was very good.service was good too.
