First, let me state that I will always be loyal to this store. Have had some great times and wonderful memories at this location. Plus, Gavin the manager is awesome! Today was very disappointing. Ordered a pot of English Breakfast tea for two; however, only enough in pot for one cup. My mother had to go back up to the counter for another cup. Plus, the tea was cold. Please make sure to check the mugs before giving them to customers; my mug had a lipstick ring around the edge and stained coffee in the bottom. Got a to go cup instead. With Starbucks just down the street; please revamp your service and your product. I am a strong supporter of local businesses and today Mill Mountain Coffee was below par. There is no excuse for hot beverages to be cold and for mugs to be dirty.

This restaurant just opened in Salem, VA a month or two ago. It is wonderful!!! The best place to eat in this small town!
Enjoyed dinner here with fellow associates. Seated promptly at our reservation at 6PM. Nice selection of appetizers and entrees. Some of us shared the foie gras appetizer, while others shared the Tuesday night special appetizer of fried oysters. Both were excellent. Those that ordered the ahi tuna main were a little disappointed in the portion size, while those that ordered the other fish dishes were quite happy with the portion size. We all had liquid desserts (glasses of port). Room got crowded, but not noisy. Nice touches like chandeliers and lit candles. Service was very good.

Reviews show our review from 2015. This visit in 2017 we can only repeat :great food..senior menu veal parmigiana was very good and more than wife and I could finish. Salad was fresh and crisp., Homemade bread was great with herbal oil dip. Prices were very reasonable especially for portions given. Service was excellent, food arrived in a timely fashion and was hot. Will be back again next year.

Starbucks is an expensive proposition. One reason fans visit is because they expect a uniform experience worldwide. That's what Starbucks delivers, to it's credit, and this place, we're happy to report, continues the standard. We stopped by for brunch and we're fortunate to take advantage of the post Christmas season sales.
It's worth a visit.

Champloo Dessert specializes is handcrafted rolled ice cream, boba teas, fusion teas, coffees and other seasonal desserts. We take pride in the quality of our products and we put our customers first.
If there is such a thing as artisan ice cream, this is it. Beautifully prepared and presented ice creams, unusual for area. Flavors good but less strong than I expected. Interesting to watch the preparation process. Can be crowded and/or echo-y loud, so go for...MoreThank you regiontravelreturns for your detailed and helpful review! We hope to see you again soon!

Opened in 1980 as a 10 stool pub and has grown into a 330 seat restaurant with outdoor dining, indoor and outdoor bars. Famous for huge, great-tasting calzones. Wide range of menu items including steaks, salads, burgers, seafood, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. Offering 40 craft beers on tap, featuring local Virginia beers.
Stopped in around 9:30 on Tuesday night.
I ordered a burger and my wife ordered a BBQ sandwiches. Both the sandwiches were fine (although my burger was much more well done than medium well) but both of our fries were cold and inedible. After pointing that out to our waiter, we had to wait 7 minutes for another batch to be fried. To our waiter's credit, he IMMEDIATELY brought us the fresh fries the exact moment they were ready - so much so that they were too hot to eat.
The Manager On Duty did stop by twice to apologize and he comped our ice teas, but I would have much preferred to have good fries instead.
Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and he's the reason the review is a 3 instead of a 2. Candidly, I can't see stopping in again.

We don't review fast food places very often, but this Chick-fil-A location is consistently excellent. Service is great, even when the place is busy. Like every Chick-fil-A, serving us is the staff's "pleasure", but here they really mean it. Food is hot and ready quickly, and the restrooms cleaned.

My wife and was ridding around once we arrived in town for her job. Once we saw this place we new we had to try it out. The service was great and the ice cream was good. You can tell that is a great place because of the line.
