Whether visiting the Acadiana Museum, Evangeline Oak or padding on Bayou Teche, this is a wonderful and inexpensive place for lunch or dinner. Great lunch menu, the lump crab cakes are excellent; although I wish there had been some remoulade sauce or some other kind of sauce drizzled on top because otherwise a little dry. Ask for a window seat with a view of the Teche. Plantation Catfish was also very good. Lunch entre comes with a side and you can add a nice little salad for $1.00. The employees and nice but, the waitress could have been trained better. You shouldn't have to ask for butter when you order a sweet potato or tartar sauce when ordering fried fish. She delivered these items without ever asking if we needed tea/water refills when glasses were empty. But, overall, we really enjoyed the food, the price, the atmosphere and location. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

We had stopped here 2 years ago on a food tour. We decided to come back to visit the area for a couple of days to see some of the historical homes here. Food is good and plentiful. Rustic and very casual place with friendly service. Would recommend stopping in if your looking for some really good local food.

Jane's Seafood has been established since 1991 and is still continuing to grow year after year. Serving our dedicated and loyal customers the freshest seafood and top service is our number 1 priority. We are located on the corner of Jane St and Landry Dr. in New Iberia, LA. What is so unique about Jane's Seafood is that not only seafood is served, but we have many variety of Chinese dishes as well. Well known for our Fried Rice! When it comes down to seafood, our Boiled Crabs, Crawfish, & Shrimp CAN NOT be beat! Give us a try!
Jane's has several options from fired seafood to chinese food to my actual favorite, boiled seafood. Their seasoning is spot on and the crawfish are washed and clean prior to boiling. They are closed on Mondays and typically pretty packed on just about every other night starting at 6PM on. The staff is friendly and pretty efficient. Come early and come hungry.

The Sunday barbecue is hard to beat, with four different types of meat to choose from, easily enough for two and at an affordable price, casual dress. Other items, such as the seafood salad and oyster poboy have been great as well.

This is just s old fashion drive in burger joint, it's not hooty tooty food, the hamburger is grilled on a old flat grill with mayo, mustard, tomato, lettuce, pickle, onions, just a regular burger but one of the best, the fried chicken is the best you will eat, and the chili dogs are good also, over all I haven't eaten anything that wasn't good, I actually crave the burgers and go twice a month

Five Stars only because six isn't an option! I had the special, Crackling Drum, which was served with the most incredible homemade berry, bacon and onion compote. My husband ordered the crawfish dinner, which consisted of crawfish salad, gumbo, étouffée, au gratin and fried crawfish. All delicious but the au gratin was my favorite. Homemade salad dressings and yummy rolls. Friendly waitstaff and good bar service. Come hungry as this is not a light meal. We were told the steaks were outstanding but we came for the Cajun. The setting is rustic but appropriate for the fare. We got there at 5:15 and were the last ones to be seated without a wait.

My wife & I went to lunch on Sunday. Great experience dining there at Victors. Down home cooking with a variety of choices. Prices were very reasonable and food was great. Highly recommend this restaurant , located in downtown New Iberia, La. on Main Street.

Took my daughter to eat dinner last weekend as she loves their cheese sticks of all things. I got a burger which isn't really considered to be in their wheelhouse since they're mainly a seafood restaurant , but theirs are extremely good...... We love this place when we're in the mood for something casual...... Good job Kajun King!

Been seeing this place for awhile and just never stopped for some reason, well I decided to today and am very glad I did. It's located in the building that St John Restaurant occupied before they built their new place. Had beef chow mein and egg rolls , both were excellent. Saw some friends in there eating giant bowls of Pho that I am definitely getting next time...... This is definitely one of those places where you can't wait to get back to try something else on the menu.......

We are a locally owned family restaurant since 1981. We have just open in a new location just across highway 90. We have been serving Boiled, Fried & Grilled Seafood for 34 years. We are also serving homemade Hamburger Steaks, poboys, chicken, and our signature dishes such as our famous Catfish along the Teche and so much more. Locals are happy we kept the same floor plan, although we do have a Mini Bar to fix mix drinks and serve wine.
Tried this on the recommendation of the front desk lady at our hotel. Are we glad we did! Started our meal with homemade onion rings, fried crab claws and firecracker shrimp! All were first rate! Our table ordered 2 fried seafood platters which had so many different items that I can't possibly name all of them... but were reportedly delicious! My friend and I had the crawfish etoufee topped catfish filets, one grilled, one fried and it was amazing! The potato salad was a little bland but otherwise no complaints at all! We were introduced to Cajun Power Garlic Sauce that was on every table and we did not leave the state of Louisiana without purchasing enough to last us until our next visit! Kim was great and the Owner's wife was super nice and friendly. Like a lot of businesses in this part of the country, the lay off of oil workers has affected the economy and their business. I sure would love to see this place keep their doors open!
