Just been to one of the best restaurants in France that I've ever been. Half way up the Maribel valley which came as a recommendation from our hosts from Ski Basis's. Where do I start, the service was perfect, food was great, everyone in our party had no complaints. Starters were great, one being snails and another poached egg with mushrooms. Mains made up of a vegetarian offering to the best meat main meal where it's cooked on a hot plate at the table, perfect in every sense. We all had a great meal and would give 100% feedback on the whole experience....NOT to be missed.

We came here on the recommendation of a man living in Meribel. We opted for the €42 lunch plus the chef’s surprise. Standout dishes were the trout cake with crispy top layer, and the tender beef Wellington with foie gras, carrot purée and a complex sauce. The 3 waiters/waitresses were all extremely helpful, spoke good English and explained every dish beautifully. Every detail has been considered so in my opinion this place deserves its one star. Either ski here or dress up and drive over from Meribel. Many thanks - we loved everything about our lunch!

This is a truly incredible gastronomic experience. We took the surprise menu (I think 5 surprises) with the superior wine choice. We drank some really interesting wines and the food was just breathtaking. It was a beautiful day so we had an aperitif on the Terrace before going in for the lunch. We also had dessert out on the Terrace. Each course was local produce that was so much more than you ever believed a simple dish could be. The prices reflect the quality of the whole experience but well, well worth it.

I recently visited with a group of friends, and the restaurant was amazing. Being in the Mountains we were all keen to try the Fondue, and also the smoked raclette. From start to finish we were looked after incredibly. The atmosphere was buzzing, the service was excellent and so was the wine. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Val Thorens.

Take the Cascades chairlift then ski the Dalles piste and you will arrive at the sun drenched Terrace of the Chalet de la Marine. You will be welcomed by Arnaud and Cedric Gorini.
When you got blue skies, fresh powder and no queues on the ski-lifts, make sure your lunch venue is up for it - and the "Chalet de Marine" is surely doing the trick! Great food, try the "eggs" or the "Pot of feu" (plus fois for those who have done the extra run - or will do it "honest" in the afternoon!
The starter of the day - home made guacamole and blinis, salmon eggs and caviar - and the "Plat du jour" - lamb - like a run in fresh powder! A bit pricy, but defo worth it! Go!
PS: did I mention the super-friendly service?

We ate here for my brother-in-law’s birthday. Most had Raclette. It was good enough. Slightly pricey considering the table next to us had almost as much food for half the number of people.
However, the service was brilliant. Very friendly.
I’d recommend if you’re in the area.

We came here for dinner last Wednesday as it was our Chalet Host's night off. Having looked on Tripadvisor prior to going on holiday we decided to book Pub La Ferme and I am glad we did. We had booked for 7pm and when we arrived the restaurant was empty so we were a little dubious. However we need not have worried. Within the hour every table was full! The food is great. We chose the 28 Euro menu which gives you three courses. There is a really good choice and the portion sizes are really big! There is a good wine list and also some nice cocktail choices. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!

Located between Les Menuires and Val Thorens, in the largest ski area in the world, the 3 Valleys, our alpine restaurant Chalet Chez Pepe Nicolas is open throughout the winter season afternoon and evening (Wednesday to Saturday). True alpine chalet, our restaurant has been completely renovated and directed in 2014. It will offer an authentic atmosphere, in a place out of time.
We had lunch twice in one week at Chez Pepe Nicolas and it was really good every time. Every detail fits at Pepe Nicolas : it combines the rural mountain atmosphere with hipness. It's almost like a filmset. Blankets against the cold and straw hats against the sun are provided.
You can have an aperitif or coffee on the Terrace with a stunning view of the Lac du Lou valley. And you can continue the pleasure by having a meal. Service is friendly and quick. It's recommended to make a reservation as it can get busy. It is accessible by car (+ 150m walk), by ski or on foot (snow rackets). In the summertime it is a bio farm, you can buy locally produced cheese in the shop all year round.

If you go by "Val Thorens" It is with great pleasure that we welcome you "Au Mazot" to go around a convivial local recipes, in a warm atmosphere and Savoyard From the first flakes, the restaurant is open all night. Then! ... Move to table!
A chummy place, friendly service and tasty food (local plates), one of the few oasis in the white Val Thorens tourist desert...
