We visited here on our way to Bellaire Mi. I researched this restaurant on trip advisor before going. My husband and I both ordered a steak. Mine was ribeye. The steak had nothing but grizzle throughout and no taste. The mountain of salty mushrooms maybe were suppose to cover it up, not sure... the mashed potatoea were not good either. Very disappointing. The salad bar was the only save. Wait staff were friendly when you could find one.. wont be back..

Shaggies should call it quits. This used to be a fun place to get a cone of other frozen treat. It's always been a bit pricey and portions have been small, but quality could be assured. Today I went for a soft-served cone because the variety of hard ice cream has been cut. The amount of ice cream in the cone was ridiculous and the concoction was so soft I could have eaten it with a straw! When I commented on the consistency the counter clerk just looked at me and smiled. McDonald's tastes just a good for a cheaper price and they are sensible about the product passed over the counter! If you want the hard variety, hit the nearby Walmart or Kroger.

The coffee is the best! But even more important is the awesome customer service. They are always happy, smiling, and making conversation with the customers. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. And the have free Wi-fi.

Let me start by admitting a mistake: I meant to order from the Mancino's in DeWitt, and I accidentally placed my order at this location (I was tired and had been traveling for days). When we discovered my mistake, both locations were willing to scrap my already-made order and remake it in DeWitt to save me the drive. That is above and beyond customer service. We did, however, decline and drove 15 miles to the St. John's location to get our sizable order.
Not disappointed! These pizzas were outstanding. We did the fully loaded house pizza, the taco pizza and a double ham and cheese. Each was stellar. The pizzas were loaded and the leftovers lasted us for days. We also did a salad and a stromboli that were excellent.
We will definitely be ordering from them again when we are in the area.

My wife and I had dinner with another couple after attending an art show. A family type restaurant. Nothing fancy but the food was good, the quality and quantity was good and the service was good and pleasant. Will stop here again.

The day we stopped they were having an event to taste locally made foods. That was fun but the food from the mill itself was ok, not great not bad.

Having just spent an hour or so at the Clinton County Fair, we needed someplace to cool down and eat. This was the perfect spot to get a taste of St. Johns. It is in a building abutted to Main Street Pizza, and while the entryway is a bit clunky, we seated ourselves in a booth overlooking Clinton Street (which is the main street in St. Johns). I recommend sitting at the window because you get to observe the folks coming and going - and as a small town, there's a lot of waving to other tables where locals are sitting from passers-by. The interior is somewhat dated and there's an unusual partial wall separating the window area from the rest of the dining room, but that's cosmetic; I believe it is kind of a waitress station. They have a full menu and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day long. We were in the mood for something light, so we ordered the club sub with extra meat. I recommend paying the small amount for extra meat - it is really worth the money. The sandwich arrived and it was one of the better subs I have had. They toast the cheese on the bread to the point where there are little browned dots all along the edge of the bread that add a delightful taste and texture to the sandwich. The service was fast and the food and atmosphere were delightful.

I tried combo 26 today--2 burritos with rice and beans. The sauce on the burritos was really bland--like a jar of tomato sauce and some cheese melted. The rice was dried out. The guacamole was great, but couldn't make up for the other. The chips were good, and they came with both a mild salsa and beans. They were super busy and service was slow. They continue to look only at my husband first and hardly notice me, just like always. Sheesh.

I went to this Wendy's with my children because I wanted to buy Frosty tags for everyone in the family, They told me they were sold out in 2 days and would not get anymore? Then don't advertise! I just saw the ad that day! So disappointed!
