We are proud to offer authentic Neapolitan pizza here in North-West-Indiana. Our Staff has been trained by an Italian Master Pizza Chef with over 30 years of expertise. The 19th Century recipe begins with pizza dough that is made with Imported Italian flour, fresh yeast, and sea salt. Next, Imported Italian San Marzano tomatoes, plus fresh herbs and spices, are blended into a flavorful pizza sauce. Finally, Fior di Latte Mozzarella or Imported Italian Buffalo Mozzarella melts to perfection as the pizza is charred in our 900 degree Stone Wood Burning Oven. This 19th Century Italian tradition is a very meticulous process which results in a Neapolitan pizza bursting with intense fresh flavor.
I think this pizza is better than the well known, highly rated establishments in the Chicagoland area. My wife and I were introduced to Giuseppe's by her sister a little over 4 years ago. We have to have this pizza every time we visit her in Schererville which, unfortunately, is only 4 or 5 times a year. If Giuseppe's opened a restaurant in the northern suburbs of Chicago, the visits would increase tenfold along with my waistline, I'm sure. On this last visit, we sampled the meatballs and sauce. The owner explained that everything was freshly made. We all agreed that the it was out of this world. During our next visit, we can't wait to try several of the dinners that come with meatballs which we should have tried long before this. But, with limited time, we always order our thin crust pizzas to go and pick them up at the very convenient back window. By the way, we get a family sausage and mushroom and a large spinach and mushroom to ensure leftovers. Though, on this last visit, we are left with slim pickens thanks to me. What can I say? It's that good.

Always enjoy this restaurant. You will leave satisfied. Homemade ketchup and jams. My favorite is the lobster roll for lunch. It is served with lettuce, tomatoes, and fries. The menu additions can be found on the chalk board above the grill. For breakfast, l enjoy the two eggs, choice of meat and type of toast. If you go on a Sunday, expect to wait. Also, you may choose to eat outside!

We really only go to Dairy Queen when we take the grandkids, they like to go for lunch. It's nice when the weather is mild and we can sit outside. I do recommend the Dairy Queen in St. John, staff is friendly, the place is clean and the kids enjoy it!

Love the bagels at Dunkin' Donuts. Donuts are also good but I try to stay away from them. The French are my favorite along with the double chocolate cake donut.
Also, Baskin Robbins is located inside Dunkin Donuts and we buy ice cream cakes for birthdays which are delicious. Love the peanut butter & chocolate. A good place to stop and have a little treat. They also have breakfast sandwiches for those that like that and coffee. Stop in for a treat when in the St John area, the staff is very nice and we enjoy stopping in for a treat now and then.

95ate5 is hand built by the owners and the people that work here. From the food, to the wood working, to the beers, everything is hand crafted with locally sourced products. We are a restaurant that also brews beer, a chef oriented eclectic Americana scratch kitchen supporting all other locally crafted breweries, spirits and wines.
Celebrated the birthday of grandpa at this fine eatery and pub located off the beaten path in a somewhat industrial area. What ambiance! We started with their infamous pretzels and beer/cheese dip followed by some of their "in-house" beer specialties. We feasted on their soups, salads, lake perch, cod, shrimp scampi and chicken. All dishes were "delicious" and our server was always ready to refill and answer questions. This place is "family friendly" as we noticed many adults bringing their children. The bar area is really unique and we plan on returning with friends to try making some "Moscow Mules"! Great place.

We are a scratch bakery.
Was closed for the summer 2015( remodeling ), finally re-opened ( late August )
amazing donuts, pastries, danishes. everything is great, and fresh everyday.
Since the re-open, the size of the donuts seemed a little smaller than they usually make, ( maybe was just an off day ) but still larger than most places.
prices have gone up, but you will not be dissapointed on flavor.

I thought this was an Italian restaurant but the decor is weird. There's airplanes, hot air balloons hanging from the ceiling, fishing nets and boats near the booths. We ordered the tomato bread which was good but when I told the waiteress that I wanted the stuff shells for dinner she told me that they weren't that good and that I'd be better getting something else. I ordered the fried perch my husband ordered the rigatoni with sausage. He said it tasted like it came out of a jar. The perch was flat and even before I tasted it you could tell that they were frozen. The food here is definately not fresh. I could have stayed home and heated up something from my freezer

The food at Teibel''s is very good, especially the perch. The main dinning room is quite expensive but if you eat in the backroom, it is much more reasonable.

Just about anytime that we're in Northwestern Indiana, if we come across Schoop's, we'll stop. Their burgers are consistently good and so are other things on the menu, like the shakes or onion rings. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We find the prices very reasonable. And who doesn't appreciate the decor?!?
