We had a breakfast with familly and the service could not be better. The food, egg benedictine, for me were done just to our liking, the verrine of yogourt with maple sirop were out of this world. My mother in law, 87 years old, had a plate of fruits which were delicious and in abondance. As far as the final bill it was more then resonable. So all told everything were just perfect.

Le menu est varié : pizza sur feu de bois, bar à pâtes, assiette de crevettes, brochettes, fondue, fruits de mer... Les plats que nous avons choisis étaient copieux et très bons.

After having some bad experiences about the qualitiy of their food, I recently decided to try again after they made some renovations on the premises; I entered the restaurant and a sign said "choose your table". I grabbed a daily newspaper and sat at a table; it was 5 pm. After going through the whole paper, I realized that no one had come to see me; attendants seemed to be busy on something else (there was about 6 customers in the restaurant) so, after about 20 minutes, I juste walked out and went to the next door restaurant. I don't think they will see me again in the near future.

You know exactly what you're going to get at Normandin, and St George is no different. Service was quick food was good and place was crowded. The childrens menu is especially goos value for money.

Restaurant St-Hubert is a large chain in Quebec and elsewhere in Canada. Having seen the busy places as we traveled through Quebec, we decided to give it a try.
St-Hubert features rotisserie chicken, but also offers many other choices, as one would expect from a chain. The food we ordered was well-prepared and tasty.
But what distinguished this place was the absolutely top-notch service we received from Stephanie. She was upbeat and personable, with just the right amount of attentiveness. Not only that, her suggestions and explanations on the menu choices were just great. We tried our first "chomeur pudding" - a local favorite - at her suggestion and it was outstanding.

You are so welcome in our home! Do you remember the last time you were welcomed into someone's home? How were you were taken care of? Was your water glass kept full? Was the bathroom clean? Did the music enhance the atmosphere or clash with your mood? Were your hosts a seemingly endless supply of warmth and smiles? Were you made to feel truly welcome and appreciated? Well, here in our home at the Rock Café, those are considered the most basic of expectations. Above and beyond we have also: polished the glasses and utensils, tested every recipe, carefully selected our wines, lit the candles, dimmed the lights, and if it is winter, we have shovelled the walkway. Our service staff is dressed to impress and our kitchen staff is ready to give you their best. And all this AGAIN as we did yesterday and the day before and the day before... Welcome to the Rock Café, where for over 10 years we have been working day after day to deliver a hospitality experienced anchored in our Mission and most precious values. Our mission: Excellence in hosting our customers and providing then with the utmost quality in every product and service offered. Our values : Respect : Respect for our values, our industry, our profession and for the art of hospitality. Respect for our employees and our customers and respect for the places and things that surround us. Honesty and candour : To be honest with ourselves and with others and to express ourselves clearly and directly. To express our needs and wants and to take responsibility for our own happiness. Proactive work : To be active and productive in our work by studying and practicing our art, by offering solutions and improvements to our organization and by being proud of a job well done. Self-awareness : To know and understand the strengths, weaknesses and limitations, the needs and desires, the qualities and flaws of ourselves and of those around us. Versatility and open-mindedness : To be open to change and to be ready to transmit our knowledge & experience to others or to receive theirs when change inevitably arises. Welcome home!!! Gluten : Our tartares are gluten free but the croutons that accompany them are not. Simple swap - just ask for extra endives instead of the croutons as they make excellent tartare-delivery devices! Dishes that are accompanied by the pasta of the day are gluten fee, but the pasta itself is not. Just ask for fries and/or salad instead. Our fries are seasoned with gluten-free spices and our house raspberry vinaigrette is also gluten free...and very yummy.
Great place for a bite to eat and a beer. Food was a little "fancy", but very good. Their house chips were awesome! Good amount of food for the price. The bread is delicious! Service was top rate! Nice patio you can eat on and the doors/windows are open as well when the weather is nice.

We stayed at a B&B down the street who recommended La Vieille Tablee.
We weren't disappointed as this unique and rustic restaurant was excellent. We sat on their expansive deck and were treated to truly excellent service and equally excellent meals.
They had a good varied menu and appetizers and a very good wine list. They really couldn't do enough for us and would recommend to anyone.

Went there to meet family for lunch. Everyone loved their meals. Hubby and I shared the General Tso poutine which was great, then we both had the salad bar. Great selection, fresh. Most of the others at the table had the lunch special which included drink, main and dessert for 12 dollars, plates were plentiful and everyone enjoyed their meals.

I just visited the Baril Grill for the second time for breakfast and really enjoyed it. My wife had a vegetarian omelet and I had the eggs benedict Florentine. Both meals were really good. The service was a little slow, but he waitress had her hands for and did the best she could. I have no issues recommending this restaurant for a mid-range breakfast.
