Situated in the heart of a Provenal village, Mr and Mrs Berard will share with you all their passion for ?Provence? by allowing you to sample the local produce and the vegetables from their garden. You will enjoy cuisine based on constantly changing flavours from the sea and the land. You will benefit fully from a relaxing time spent admiring the magnificent view of the Bandol vineyards.
Would recommend to anyone, expensive but the attention to detail, the flavours and the presentation is exquisite. Something to remember and an experience in itself.

The restaurant looks great from the outside. It's very cosy and the staff is very helpful. I've been living in France for 10 years and I'd five 5/5 just for the staff...
The food however was expensive and not very good... In fact, in the kitchen I only saw kids :( Trainees unsupervised I guess... We had the "Gambas" and the "Sèches". The gambas looked they had been cooked for a while and sit there waiting for beeing warm up in the microwave. The "Sèches" had no flavour at all. I know that places near the sea are all outpriced and sort of tourist scams, but I was expecting something much better...

L'Equateur is at the bottom of the drive and across the road from the Grand Hotel Les Lecques. It was so easy for us to find. It was busy enough when we arrived at lunchtime for us but as lunch progressed it became very busy. The handsome young waiters are very friendly and good humoured. There is a good choice of salads and some delicious moules farcies. They speak good English but will reply to you, and speak to you in French, if you wish to make use your of French language skills. It is scenic and has a great variety of customers

Sunday Lunch for four.
Les Quatre Vents is in a small group of restaurants near the beach. There is a car park next door, but it's a bit academic as it is full at weekends.
Tables are available inside or out. Indoors there is air-conditioning, but it is feeble and possibly only benefits just one table in the entire establishment.
Staff are mostly cheery and the owner plays a major role at front of house.
On the cover of the menu, one is told this is "Chez Moules". However, no mussel dishes feature on the two set menus. Odd? Moules do figure on La Carte. Now, I love Moules, so I asked for some as my main. "I don't think we have any (in French)" was not an expected reply. It's a bit like McDonalds having no burgers!
Eventually they found some, and I had Moules Marinière. The shellfish was beautifully cooked, but the liquor was little more than salt water and onions. Herbs, no. Garlic, no. Not very good.
Luckily the rest of our group loved the Sea Bass, the Accras de Morue and steaks.
Desserts were good. For a restaurant in a tourist area, it's pretty good.
Go for a stroll along the prom after.

This place is right by the seashore...you are just meters from the waves breaking in the bay. On the day we were there, a warm wind created a high surf which was entertaining to watch.
Our server was friendly and accommodated our broken french. I chose a tuna and anchovy salad, which was fresh and delicious. My trends has galette and omelette which were equally nice as were the French fries. The cocktails were booze laidened and the Deserts lovely.
Prices were good and if you don't get sat next to a french smoker, then this is about as nice a French cafe as you can hope to eat at, right by the sea!

The service was excellent, lovely location. The food was rustic, The salad was very big and good if you like large portions. The fish was not seasoned. For the price I paid I thought it was expensive for the quality of the food.

A nice restaurant next to the boats. Book a table if you want to sit inside. The waiters are friendly and helpful. The food is nice and not too expensive by the french standards (€65 for 2 without wine). Their dessert 'île flottante' is really great! You can park your car at the parking space next to the marina (don't forget to take a ticket).

Everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The clean, country setting, the service, wine and very reasonable gourmet prix fixe menu for lunch. Parking was kind of a wild experience and we had to hike up the road a bit, but overall we were beyond pleased with our time at Rochebelle!

Family business run on the corner of the port, in a very quiet set. The menu is rich of choices and the galletes are really nice. Homemade icecream also top notch!

Les Lecques holds a special place in our hearts, because this is where we honeymooned, quite some years ago now. Hadn`t previously visited this popular restaurant, though. It stands on the Promenade right by the beach. The waiter was very amiable. His English was at least as good as my French and between us we managed well. The menu is not extensive, but everything seems well prepared and presented. Definitely worth a visit, if you are in the area.
