We stopped in for a quick lunch on the way home to KC. Everything from the wine to the ahi tuna salad to the mushroom risotto was totally delicious. Thank you for having a good non-meat menu.Thank you for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed Bella! Hope to see you again soon in the future - cheers!

Tony's is located on historic main street in St. Charles, Missouri. There are many choices on main street and I would only recommend Tony's if you have a large group with different likes for food. They try to offer many options however the place is in real need of a good cleaning and major overhaul. The interiors are very tired and the flooring is pretty disgusting. With all the options on Main Street I prefer to dine elsewhere.

BBQ was amazing. Portions large with meat weighed as served. Sides were tasty with core sizes every day and side specials new each day. The Ceasar salad was not great with no actual Ceasar dressing. Homemade BBQ sauces available on the table it likes sides have regular line and specials.

Went with a party of 9 and couldn't get a reservation till 8 pm.
We arrived at 6 and got a large table in the bar area for drinks and starters. Service (Daniel), drinks, and starters were all excellent. The bar was constantly busy with a reasonable turn-over. At 7:15, I advised the hostess we were all present and having a nice time in the bar, but were available should our table open early. Seated about 8:20 pm. Server (Haas) did a decent job, food arrived promptly, but it was a little hit and miss taste-wise.
I heard no raves from anyone about their entrees. Ravioli, scallops, cowboy steak were all decent. My seafood stew was sumptuous but my wife's halibut was over cooked and dry with little seasoning and a somewhat peculiar/off flavor. It was served on a bed of greens with prosciutto instead of grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto.

This building is a historical site on South Main St in Historic Old St Charles. It's been a variety of restaurants over the years. It's a prime location tho.
Looking for a place to eat in St. Charles? I'd highly recommend Bradden's. It's one of my favorites. I love their mussels. My friends always enjoy their desserts (especially the coconut cream pie and the ooey gooey butter cake). They have a great variety of soups sandwiches.

My friend and I went to Magpie's for a leisurely lunch this past weekend after strolling along the Main Street boutiques. The restaurant is a converted house with 12 or so tiny tables in two small rooms. When we were there, there were about 6 or 7 tables occupied: three in each room mostly women. The lunch menu had several choices to fit most any life style: vegan, gluten free, meat eater. I settled on a small spinach salad which was really good. The salad was served with a piece of Italian bread and butter. There was plenty of food for a lunch. My friend had the flat bread pizza with accompanying salad. She said it was all delicious. The service was attentive and the server split the bill between our two credit cards. We forgot to use the discount from Olive oil store down the street! My only disappointment was the ladies room. It was tiny but I objected to the bookcase with old dirty paint cans, a filthy mop resting against the wall, and supplies, I as a customer, do not need to see. A good point was the water in the bathroom was hot and there was soap. And, lastly, on the way out I noticed that they have a cookbook for sale. I did not notice it until I was going out the door. I may have bought one if I had seen it going into the restaurant!

My wife & I took our son & his wife to lunch at Dewey's in The Streets of St. Charles before they flew home after Christmas. Together & separately we've visited this Dewey's location 6-8 times, and we've always received very friendly & attentive service. Gaby was our server for this visit, and she & her fellow waitresses attended to our needs (keeping our drinks refreshed, informing us on progress of our pizza) prior to and after receiving our meal. The staff has always been quick to suggest ordering a half-and-half pizza vs. separate pies to save money, which is very much appreciated.
This visit my wife ordered a side Harvest Salad (very fresh & flavorful), then the four of us split a half Caprice (for the veggie lovers)/half Don Corleone (for the meat lovers). Toppings are sufficient & flavorful, and the crusts are always cooked to perfection. We usually have just one or two slices left to take home, but they reheat well & retain their flavor.
While Dewey's pizzas are expensive as other reviewers have noted, they beat their growing number of competitors offering "pick your own toppings" pies on topping volume & overall satisfaction with the product. The service at the St. Charles location enhances the experience, and we would recommend a visit for groups small & large who want to share a pizza and enjoy the company.

The salad bar is fantastic. It has seafood, sushi, and various salads and soups. They have a great staff. They keep bringing different food and meats to your table. You can take some or pass on it. I would recommend trying most things on the first pass and then just taking what you like the most on the second and third pass around. You will not go home hungry. It was a fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere.

We are there on Friday night. We were unaware that you needed a reservation- so we got lucky with no wait. We arrived around 5:30, but when we left around 7, it was a packed house. The meat was amazing, I wasn’t thrilled about the side dishes, but that’s ok. We shared “the whole shebang” so we could try different options. It was a great way to sample and would easily feed 3 adults. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. It was a little speedy for bbq - 2 adults and 2 kids, over $100. No booze and no dessert, but we did have an onion ring appetizer and one child ordered off the adult menu. It was good but we wouldn’t eat there often due to the price.
