Our whole family enjoy Desii’s the lads who work here are great, they remember us and always make us feel welcome.
They’ll make you something up that’s not on the menu too, we like masala fish and they’ll always knock us one up if we ask. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
It’s our go to Indian restaurant for family get togethers or a take out on a Saturday night.

Formerly known as The Drovers, The Gaping Gander, The Rowlands and the plain old Helter Skelter, Oswalds@Helter Skelter is a good old-fashioned pub serving real beer and real food. The first floor of this Cheshire restaurant serves a mix of traditional and contemporary cuisine, including meals such as black pudding with potato rosti, bacon and a tomato sauce, swordfish with chilli prawns, chorizo and wild rice and duck with a plum and ginger sauce, while the 'Home Comforts' section offers dishes like a cask ale pie served with chips and peas. A pub that serves good food and a good pint - It doesn't get much better than that!
Had a wonderful night service and food where both excellent..Still dreaming of the trifle..We will definately be calling in again

The Prospect Inn is a family run business, that serves quality food and fine ales, wines and beers. Situated in Weston Village with views stretching across the river Mersey. The Prospect is under new management as of September 2017.
From Australia to Runcorn we were pleased to have a meal at The Prospect Inn whilst catching up with friends. We booked on the Tuesday for the Thursday and the lady on the phone was very pleasant.
When you go in the entrance you've got the bar on your left and the restaurant on your right.
We had delicious food, service with a smile and a lovely crackling fire next to us.
Highly recommend a visit or two!

Visited the evenwood farm with family and was slightly disappointed, food was lukewarm and what is usually delicious, appeared tasteless. My son’s meal appeared to have been thrown together and was no attempt to make it look appealing. Never had a problem with the food...MoreUnfortunately your visit this time wasn’t a pleasant one, hopefully your next visit is more satisfactory. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review

Visited with the family for Mam's birthday. Let's say she's over 80. Probably left it late when booked and told we could have the table for 2 hours between 4 and 6.
We've been a few times before and love the layout and feel. Nice fire on the go.
Seated straight away and much patience shown for the father in law as he's a bit unsteady on his feet.
We know the menu and were glad to see some new dishes to choose from. Drinks order taken and served real quick. Draught Moretti is good however I fancied Peroni available in bottles.
Not long after the table filled with food. There was 7 of us and about 4 plates each. Left us with great choice but as usual we ordered too much. Not a problem as it was trayed up for take away.
All in all a great visit and we'll be back again.

The Crown Inn first opened in the 1840’s, we have retained the traditional pub feeling, but we are also a restaurant serving the finest homemade food. Here at The Crown we have a great passion for good food. All of our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises by our team of dedicated & professional Chefs. Please note our menu changes frequently depending on what fresh ingredients are available. We have a fine selection of wines which are available by the bottle or the glass, as well as our normal range of beers, cask ales, spirits & soft drinks. We also welcome large groups for special events & can provide quality buffets. Pre orders are available for guests with special dietary requirements or for those looking to eat something extra special.
The food here is very good, we had Sunday lunch and it was all fresh and well presented. Only problem is that this place is very tired and needs updating. It try's to achieve everything by accommodating regular boozers and sport watching amidst were people are eating. Such a shame that they do not segregate the diners away from the sport pub feel, as it is noisy.

We are open every day for food: from 10am for breakfast, and from 12 noon for dinner, until 9pm. Children and dogs are welcome in all areas of the pub.
We visited here, recently, on the recommendation of friends, and had a really good evening. Whilst we didn't eat, the food we saw looked delicious, with generous portions. The whole place had a very good atmosphere, with friendly and welcoming staff on hand. The beers and wines were good and we are looking forward to our next visit when we will be sampling the food.
Thoroughly recommended.

This was my first visit to the Norton Arms with my Mum. She had the Scampi, I had the Cod with Scampi, both included chips & peas. Quiet pub, offering great service & nicely cooked food, big portions...
The staff are great and we were made to feel wecome. We will certainly revisit.
