Welcome to Friends, we are Pinner’s landmark AA Rosette restaurant. We believe that our dishes should be created from the finest, seasonal and where possible, local ingredients. Our food and our service are a reflection of our passion for quality and excellence. Friends is nestled in a 500 year old Tudor building on historic Pinner High Street. Our house may be old but our culinary heart is very much of today. We serve the very best of British and French cuisine. Friends was founded over 25 years ago by Savoy trained, Chef Patron, Terry Farr. Today Terry’s partner Stelian Scripcariu is Head Chef of Friends. Stelian has over 10 years experience and has worked at the Dorchester Hotel, Gordon Ramsay (Maze) and Bearnard Louiseau's Group. Chef Stelian continues the standards of excellence laid down by Terry.
My experience of restaurants on a Valentines evening has typically been disappointing. The restaurant will charge an extortionate amount and the quality of the food has always seemed lower than normal. The staff always seem rushed and eager to turn the table for the next...MoreThank you for your kind words. Looking forward to seeing you at Friends on a regular basis.

Returning to Ruislip after a couple of years we decided to eat at Zaza as we had eaten well here previously. Once again another good meal was enjoyed: the prawns in garlic were superb.
Tremendous value for such good food and wine.
The service was excellent.

Hawtreys Restaurant has been awarded two rosettes for the quality of food for the last 9 consecutive years, our Restaurant is open to non residents as well as residents of the Barn Hotel. We hope you will take the opportunity to experience our food and ambience when looking for an exquisite dining experience.
We have always enjoyed eating at Hawtrey's over the years and decided to try the Tasting Menu for my husband's birthday. We are so pleased we did. Every course from the creative canapes through to the dessert was superb. We started with Wild Mushroom Veloute which was creamy and full of flavour, followed by Cornish Sole served with a Shrimp and Grape Sauce, then a wonderful Slow Cooked Wild Duck, and a second meat course of Venison. Both the pre-dessert and the dessert were delicate and superbly presented.
Each dish, when it arrived at the table, had the "wow" factor and service, as always, was friendly and attentive. We have eaten at many highly rated restaurants, and sampled many Tasting Menus but none have impressed as much as Hawtrey's. There was not one course that did not delight. The quality of the cooking is remarkable.
The restaurant is a welcoming and very comfortable venue and remains a favourite.

Welcome to Lomito! The young Englishman and the Argentine girl met in 1973 at a bedsit in London’s Bayswater. It was to be the beginning of a love affair and union with all things Argentine. The latest embodiment of the Anglo-Argentine love affair is in the form of our family run restaurant, Lomito.Located in the heart of leafy suburb Northwood, we offer a slice of Argentine life in its food, wine and above all, hospitality. We believe that providing a relaxing space where wholesome food can be enjoyed amongst the company of family and friends, over a leisurely glass of wine is a heavenly combination. We welcome you to join us at Lomito & savour the moments with us.
We went and ordered the platter of sausage and one burger each. The sausage platter was average and for £12 we had expected it better. The burger wasn't that great either as it was tasteless and the bun is way to big. Added ketchup but it wasnt enough to make it tastier. The worse was after eating we both felt very heavy and once back home we got stomach ache all night and the next day also
We complaint by phone but still awaiting for a refund.

Any time I have a craving for fish and chips I make sure codfather is my choice of destination. I usually call to make my order and they remember your name and usual order, adds a nice touch. Very friendly service and always fresh, with good quality ingredients. Ohh and its halal too if you fancy sausage!

Great British Pub
Sunday roast was nice but rather a long wait. I have eaten here before in the evening during the week and again, long wait. Think this may be because it is more popular after the refurbishment. Food when it came was nice though. Good large...MoreThank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are working hard to improve our wait times but unfortunately sometimes it is just the sheer volume of orders.

Menu had lots of choices. We had the meze to start followed by mains. Food was good but not outstanding. Service was laid back. Lots of choices for vegetarians
