They have two kinds of ribs; regular and baby back. Both are delicious. The regular ribs fall off the bone. The baby back has a mustard based sauce. All the Brunswick stew and coleslaw you want. The stew has a great flavor, but the consistency is finder than I would like for my Brunswick stew. The. Coleslaw needs black pepper. You definitely have to try the strawberry cake. It tasted like a fresh pick strawberry. Absolutely delicious!

Great hidden jewel serving lunch 11 till 2 and dinner on Friday only. Combines a great cafe with a great bakery into one spot. Easy parking. Clean restrooms. Serving soup, salads, sandwiches, quiche, amazing desserts, combos. Serving to go or eat in. Serving vegetarian, gluten free. Menu on line, website everything is fresh and good. One of our favorites. Friendly servers remember to save room for dessert or just stop for dessert and coffee.

We were traveling through this (pretty rural) area; and put in a search for food on the GPS. The Berryman House Restaurant was literally a block away. Anything that says Home cooking on the sign grabs our attention. We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and seated in a quaint little room. They had 3 options of meat (2 with 3 sides and 1 with 2 sides) for $8.50. We were both very satisfied with our food. The server left us a pitcher of water on our table--- I prefer this as I drink a LOT of water and like to be able to fill my glass when I want. She checked on us; but was not intrusive. We both agreed that we had found a great little place to eat. It is doubtful we will return that way again; but if we do, we will probably stop back in.

Due to it being an old building without lower ceilings, the noise from others conversations was a bit nerve racking. The sounds just carried like crazy you couldn't hear the radio station that was on. I had the chicken salad scoop on greens/fruit/onion vinaigrette.
Didn't care much for the vinaigrette dressing. I got one strawberry and two one inch cubes of cantaloupe with a bunch of greens and a scoop of chicken salad. Some pita corners came with it. I've had better pita chips but they were ok. The chicken salad was tasty though. I would try maybe the sandwich if I was back in the area. I wouldn't make another special trip and I would try a different dressing. It cost $7 with water and the ice melts quickly because the water seemed to be room temp or something. The lady in charge was friendly. They are only open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 so if you live a distance away you have to watch the time. Tuesday-Friday and 1st and 3rd Saturdays.

This is our go to breakfast spot since we moved here in July.
We love the locals hanging out. No strangers here. Everyone talks to you, but I'm sure if you're the kind of person that doesn't want cover stationing would be respected.
Everything is made to order. And it's very clean.

Almost passed by this place. There are not a lot of choices for food in this town. They have a basic food place, specializing in burgers. But they have other choices like philly steak also. Not the best place I have ever eaten, but enjoyed eating there anyway. Staff were friendly.

This is a family owned business that specializes in their seafood buffet. Items generally include fried fish, fried stuffed crabs, fried shrimp, catfish, hush puppies, cole slaw, oysters, green beans, salad bar, country ham, biscuits, corn bread. peach cobbler and soft serve ice cream and a few other items. Staff is always friendly and service is great.

This is a great place to go on Friday or Saturday or after church on Sunday. The ribs are slow cooked and amazing. They offer bbq pork, ribs, chicken and smoked brisket. A new favorite is their loaded bbq baked potato. The staff is friendly and service is good.

Not too many choices for dinner in Royston, so our group of six decided to do Mexican and margaritas. Service was friendly, upbeat and top notch. Menu was extensive with all types of choices including vegetarian. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with Spanish music piped to add to the ambiance. Chips and salsa were served and I found the salsa just like tomato sauce with a little spice... quite boring. Everyone in our party ordered something different and all the dishes looked appetizing and came as ordered except mine. My dish was described on the menu as pork chunks with a green verde sauce served with rice and beans. The server stated "pork chunks" when serving the plate, but instead there were two pork chops. I was the last at the table to be served, so did not bother to send the plate back as it was late. If the kitchen was out of "pork chunks", they should have told me and I would have been happy to make another choice. The sauce was delicious, and the rest of the plate not so much. Overall, it was a fun night with friends and the restaurant staff, but we find the menu very over priced for Mexican food.
