Bread basket was good. Thank god, as we waited half an hour for our first dish (and over 15 minutes to order),
A starter of 'asparagi di Zambana' (a local speciality) featured woody asparagi with an excessively bitter flavour, accompanied by a greasy rocket salad (and mediocre quality oil). Better was a primo of local filled pasta (casonzei).
Mains were disappointing. 'Spuntature di maiale' (spare ribs) accomplished the feat of being very fatty without much flavour. A 'Cappello del prete' (a cheaper and harder, but potentially tasty, cut of meat - more or less a featherblade) was bland, the best part of the dish being some mushrooms.
Filtered water, 0.75 litres, came at 2.50, which in this part of the world is quite a lot. The prices for food, while not high in absolute terms, were high for the quality.

I've been here twice: once with my parents for my birthday and once with friends. Both times I've been very satisfied, the waiters were extremely polite and the food (especially meat dishes) are awesome. The only "bad" thing, that happened the second time I went, was that two of us ordered pizza and the others first courses and the plates arrived at the table 15 minutes apart (first the pizzas, then the other dishes). Nevertheless, we stayed until late and at the end, they offered us Limoncello. I recommend this place, besides the little timing mistake (that happened only once by the way), it is great and looks fancy.

Homemade pasta (ravioli, tortellini, pappardelle) and offered them side by side to the traditional recipes of the Trentino region, with a great choice of boiled meat.
All with great attention to quality of the ingredients. Delicious fresh salads and a Gourmet Pizza with very special natural and bio ingredients.

We had dinner in this very nice restaurant. Really great italian food. Very good choice of italian wine. We enjoyed the grilled tuna and the pasta. Both was very fresh and well composed. Many local guests. Excellent and caring service.
Worthwhile a stop here on the way to Lago di Garda.

We happened upon Alla Roza by chance on our return to our hotel so decide to have dinner there the next night (Sunday). We were very pleased with the service, the quality of the food and the ambiance of the Restaurant. The staff were very helpful and kind (as our Italian isn't very good). Would recommend Alla Roza

The Bar Christian offers simply awesome food. From starters over main dishes to the desserts, everything was tasting outstandingly delicious. The portions are big and the prices are fair.
For meat lovers the beef steaks are an absolute must have. If you have a sweet tooth you should definitely order a Tiramisu there - I never had it that fluffy and delicious yet and ever since.
The Bar has a nice yard covered by wine leafs where it is possible to sit, eat and drink. We had to wait a bit to get seated in the wine yard with the 7 persons we were but to wait for this food was definitely the right decision.

We were travelling back home from Bolzano and we wanted to stop half way and eat something local. I found this place on the internet and decided to Give it a try. A very rustic looking restaurant downstairs. The theme for this months menù was mushroom! The food was delicious and portions were a good side. The local Wine was excellent too. The the ingredients are sourced locally and each dish is typical trentino. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is located in a charming little village little square with an old rustic Fountain. If the weather is nice ask for a table outside, the view is really enjoyable.
As the name says it is the house of wines, all from local producers, so the wine list is the focus,
Wide selection very well explained.
At the entrance the menu is written on a blackboard, a small selection of good personality dishes. You can widen it with the local cured meat and cheese platter , worth trying with the home made bread and the exquisite warm focaccia.
Great selection of home made dessert, the semifreddo deserves a special note.
Not cheap, not expensive, good quality, small and nice staff.

As a old pizza junkey I can tell you that I'm rarely gettin such a tasty pizza as at this place.
It's one of the 2 reasons to stop in Rovereto every time we are heading back home.
There is no other starter for us than the carne salada which was excellent today.
The house wine is going perfectly with the food.
Service is helpful and attentive as usual.
We keep getting back!
