Under the guidance of Mary Codd, Manager and Peter Murphy, Head Chef, the Yard Restaurant has gone from strength to strength since opening in October 2006. The most excellent food together with the best wines provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The Yard is ideally located in the heart of Wexford town and just a stone throw from the best shopping, bars and clubs in the town.

Don't go here at lunchtimes. Some (not all) staff can be pretty rude and come across as impatient. I asked for advice on allergies and the waiter just didn't have the time to help me whatsoever. He threw a menu at me and mumbled "I'll be back in a minute". I've eaten here a lot but I've started to lose patience with the mediocrity of food and staff lately. It used to be a great local place to eat. There are lots of other places to eat in town and I actively avoid now.

Spice is an authentic Indian Restaurant serving quality Indian food. Our chefs come from Kerela, South India and have been trained at the 5 star Taj Hotel Group. We pride ourselves on using only fresh ingredients and our own fresh ground spices. Both our food and wine menu's are very reasonably priced and we also offer a special mid week menu as well as an early bird menu. We are situated in Monck Street which is Wexford's premier street for nightlife and we have beautiful views of Wexford harbour. 'Spice' has recently been refurbished to a style that is both contemporary and warm. Children are very welcome if well supervised and we offer a children's menu which also includes some Indian dishes, with a special dessert of 'smartie' and popping candy ice-cream!
We arrived as the restaurant late as our ferry was cancelled in nearby Rosslare, it was about to close but they left me and 5 friends in anyway.
Can honestly say was one of the nicest curries I’ve ever had. I had the south Indian curry and it was immense.
The waiter was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

The new fusion bistro offers a wide range of locally sourced produce where possible. Serving steaks, seafood, pastas, pizzas all cooked to order. We also have mouth- watering homemade desserts. Follow us on facebook for our specials.family friendly bistro. We are also open for sunday lunch from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm
We arrived at the bistro which had been recommended by the owner of our B&B. To our great surprise, it was closed. Why close on a Tuesday in June? Surely this is a holiday time and a holiday place? Also, we had to wait for the staff to finish their conversation before they advised us it was closed.

Cooper's Inn Killinick is located 9 minutes from Rosslare Europort and 10 minutes from Wexford Town. We are a 182 year old establishment that serves a varied Barfood Menu including a selection of Fresh Fish dishes from Kilmore Quay.
A lovely traditional pub just in the main road. We visited as a family. Separate dining area off the bar. We had no problems with getting a table. Very comfortable surroundings. Staff were very helpful & friendly. The children's menu is extensive - portions are huge! Not a long menu but enough choice for most people.
I would highly recommend this place worth a visit....

Situated looking down on Inch Beach
Sadly weather did not entice me to visit Inch beach as frequently as I would like to but on any wet "summer's day in Ireland I found Joan Greenes cafe/bistro/bar to be an oasis of comfort and charm. The proprietress is charming and not alone cooks delicuous food but is also a wonderful singer entertainer. I highly recommend this place for value for money and her scrumptuous home cooked meals and sumptuous Deserts. Try it for yourself and enjoy the magical views over the wild Atlantic!

Located on Cornmarket, in the Heart of Wexford Town, the Thomas Moore Tavern is one of Wexfords oldest bars. Beautifully restored, the Thomas Moore Tavern uses the very best of local and seasonal ingredients and serves lunch and evening meals in stylish surroundings. Enjoy delicious food served daily in the ground floor bar or join us for a burger in the evenings while watching the big match. Enjoy casual meals in The Bistro, regular entertainment in The Bar, or book your own private function in our Piano Bar, we have everything you need for a great night out.
Lovely pub with great food. Can't really fault it, portions looked a bit small initially but in fact were perfect. Good attentive and prompt staff both behind bar on floor. You can dine in the bar or the lovely restaurant. Very clean throughout. Will return if ever down that way again.

We spent a night in Rosslare before catching the ferry to the uk. we chose here as we remember having a good meal 6 years ago!
About 5 minute drive from the ferry port with a large car park and small beer garden to rear.
Lovely large restaurant inside with friendly efficient staff. Family friendly.
Good selection of food on menu and a kids' menu too, all very reasonably priced. (We had spent 11 days in different parts of Ireland and this was one of the cheapest restaurants we had eaten in)
All meals were thoroughly enjoyed.
Next time we go to Ireland via Rosslare, we will be paying another visit!
