If you don't stop by Marions you haven't experienced home town goodness! Spend time looking at all the fun stuff that is packed into the store while you are waiting for your food.

Not many places actually have fresh pizza dough anymore. It's usually frozen until cooked. At Mama Lia's you can see the staff in the kitchen preparing and making pizza. It is fun to watch them prepare and toss the pizza. Great variety from pepperoni, hawaiian, meat lovers, and more. They also have really good cheese sticks and chicken wings. Is one of our families favorite pizza stops.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are available. Breakfast is served all day. Our menu includes Omelets, Burgers, Sandwiches, Pasta, Steaks, Seafood and much more. We are family friendly and provide many options to customize meals for those with dietary concerns.
We came here with a large group. The service was quite good. Our sever was attentive and did a great job. The food portions were great, and the overall quality was good. Most of the people in our group chose the mashed potatoes for a side, and nobody cared for them. They were sticky, and not very good. The fries were great, however. The prime rib was very good, and the kids prime rib was a larger portion than we expected. The chicken strips were good as well. I will definitely come back. I will just stay away from the mashed potatoes.

We proudly serve Millcreek coffee Roasters straight out of Salt lake city. We more then just coffee though, we have various other choices of non caffeinated beverages: from tea to juices we have something for everyone. AS for food we serve fresh hot paninis both lunch and breakfast, as well as many other yummy goodies.
EXCELLENT coffee and service. The staff are always friendly and will come out to the car to get your order if they are really busy. They always remember what my favorite coffee is. Best to go inside for more goodies and a nice place to sit down and enjoy coffee by their fireplace. It is a hidden GEM! Always worth the stop and I look forward to their coffee every trip.

This is a Mexican food joint that also serves steak. Nice ribeye for $19! Young wait staff was fun and took good care of us. Great find after a long day of riding.

The looks of the outside is a downer, but the food on the inside is great. They have excellent choices for chinese, american, and mexican dish's. There are specials dailey and everything is good and well priced. I love the homemade fries. And the sweet and sour chicken is excellent.

Having grown up in Roosevelt, we always had the Grub Box and the lesser choice of Chicken Time. Chicken Time eventually became Rocky's after the owner's re-built and renamed their establishment. What the clearly never changed was the things that built their lesser reputation in the first place. If you get a shake, make sure to ask that they mix it all the way to the bottom. Otherwise your shake will be extra thick in the top half and plain ice cream in the bottom half. Fried chicken is the same everywhere, unless it's burnt, which it frequently seems to be here.
Unfortunately, the lesser of the two local eateries survived my childhood, which means that anytime I return to the town of my youth, I don't bother eating out. That rare occasion that I decided to, reminded me of why I still don't bother with Chicken Time/Rocky's place.
To give a compliment where one is due; the folks behind the counter were friendly and talkative. That is something one expects from any small town eatery but doesn't always find.

The next morning for breakfast we went across the street (more or less) from our Winterton Suites room to the Pelican Cafe for breakfast (1305 West Highway 40, Roosevelt, UT 84066, 435) 725-2233). It was supposed to be the best breakfast place in town. We had tried to find the Lamplighter Pelican Café in Vernal but never did. So we had high expectations. They were not met. Audre ordered one soft boiled egg (specified for 4 minutes) and got 2 eggs that, when they arrived, were hard boiled. The scone Audre ordered was a large flat donut which bore no resemblance to a scone. Dimitri had 2 eggs over easy with hash browns and toast. Neither of us were happy. We spent $20.
