Since it was a business trip, we spend less time at the hotel but the service of the hotel was great. Rooms were very clean and the staff was very descent, good for family trips. There is ample space for parking, both for cars and bikes outside the hotel but there is no covered parking. It slightly lacks some points on food. Rooms were a bit smaller than my expectation. But overall it is a good hotel.

The Olive restaurant is well known and offers a menu of North Indian, Chinese and some continental dishes. The restaurant caters to both couples and families with its quirky cinema posters and warm interiors.
We were looking for some comfort, familiar food and ordered Sweet Corn soup and Manchow soup to begin our meal. This was followed by butter chicken, paneer butter masala and butter naan. Not the healthiest choices but comfort food and tasty it was! The naans were particularly well made. Soft, thin and slightly crisp naans with the rick gravies was delicious.

Easy access from the Delhi Dehradoon main road. Sufficient road side parking space. Excellent location. Easily visible. Though choices of items limited, the items available are of excellent. Hot Jilebis, Chaats of different combinations. You will feel once more after your first visit. Not costly.

Sattviko cafe has great ambience for an in-campus restaurant. And as such was decently crowded since its a popular student hangout. The menu has nice wallet-friendly options (a little costly maybe for students) but the food was tasty with decently quick service.

In June 2017, two of my friends come roorkee then we decide to go to restaurant for lunch, and we choose Tamarind. Occasionally my friend say firstly check Quality of food and we only order French fries for testing , but it was not good as we expect, so we call waiter for bill then he come with bill having Rs.148 and I was gave them Rs500 Note and as per expectation Rs.352 Restaurant have to refund. But they refund Rs.350 , I object on this then they give me my Rs.2 , here Question is about the cheap mindset of the staff not the size of amount. May be this is not a issue for anyone but for me Quality, service, Behavior and Honesty is most important.

We discovered this place by chance some 5-6 yrs ago as it comes after Roorkee and away from the other dhabas.
Its a dhaba only in name, as Sardarji has ensured the quality of food is top notch at all times. The Seating is covered and neat; the food is served in pristine white plates and bowls, the take-away packing is good quality, the menu is limited but the food is worth the wait from Delhi. He never compromises on quality and alcohol is a complete no-no here. So you can take your family and enjoy soft tandoori paranthas or spicy chole or dal and cool lassi.
The only drawback is that it does not have toilets but he is working on getting them made and expanding the Seating space to the basement.

"Masala Country- a Highway Dine-In & Take- away restaurant"- offers a variety of food that includes mouthwatering curries, exotic kebabs and yummy Naans that will surely suit your taste at a very affordable price"
Last week during Diwali holidays I happen to travel from Delhi to Haridwar with my parents. We were quite worn-out of the jams and heavy traffic and found this place by chance. This place stands out from the rest of the restaurants in and near Roorkee. We happen to speak to the owner, a seasoned hospitality professional who was warm and welcoming and ensured our every need is taken care of.
In all an amazing place to cool ones heels in either directions. MUST TRY.

This is a Multi cuisine restaurant. Royal hyderabadi biryani is our top selling dish. We also serve indian, Chinese and deccan cuisine.
I visited this restaurant on the way to Haridwar on my official tour. It was great excitement for us to try hyderabadi biryani in North India. However, it turn out to be great place for authentic hyderabadi biryani as the taste was authentic, food was fresh and the service was remarkably fast. It was really memorable experience for us and I shall revisit this place every time I travel to Roorkee.

Delicious, fast and fresh food with impeccable taste. Absolute perfect Indo-Chinese dishes cooked with style
Beautiful ambience and food Quality is good (not to say excellent). Quantity is way too less. The best part I liked there is the interior design. The lounge gives such refreshing feel.I give 3 reviews because of refreshing feel and the interior design but need to work on Food and quantity.
