Belle Harbor Steak House offers a diverse menu of good quality home cooking, serving up big portions. Staff is friendly and there's lots of choice on the menu. The eggplant parmesan is well prepared, served with a generous side salad. The ruben is too big to finish. The burgers are huge served with big portions of fries. Desserts are just as huge. Don't miss the rice pudding dressed with cinnamon and whipped cream.

Great cakes, cookies and pies. Cappuccinos served from 7am. Maybe 5 or 6 tables often coopted by locals (guilty). They are never rushing you out. Mostly its a walk in, purchase, greet your neighbors and go crowd.Maria, the owner is a doll. They make outstanding specialty cakes. Now serving gelato. A little pricey but delicious

In the summer of 2014, this "outfit"
moved to Beach 87th Street between Beach Channel Drive and Rockaway Freeway (closer to the Freeway). More room to sit and enjoy (and wait for) the food. Fish tacos are the best anywhere and chorizo tacos (I'm told) are great too, both at $3.50....Drinks- juices are creative (lemon mint, watermelon, etc) but not cheap $5....guava and chips are amazing, sides like spicy cucumber and jicama are delicious......small bar right next door with adjoining entry. Locals (like me) are jealous this is only open May-early fall and lines can get long during busy beach days. Parking at a premium.

This indy restaurant is located in Queens, between the Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, in a cluster of shops and restaurants in Toney
Belle Harbor. Lively bar upfront. The dining room is separate, in the back. V good food. I especially liked the Smoked Brisket build-your-own burritto. Good selection of beers to choose from too.

Last Sunday Laura and I went back to Uma's. Luckily, we found a parking spot right in front, on Rockaway Beach Blvd. For apps we ordered Samsa ($4): baked pastry stuffed with ground beef, onions and uzbek spices served with savory tomato sauce, and Uma's Salad ($9): roasted peppers, fried eggplant, fresh tomatoes with garlic, cilantro and dill topped with feta cheese. For entrees Laura ordered Plov ($10?), the national dish of Uzbekistan, tender beef, carrots, chick peas and red uzbek raisins, and I ordered Manti With Meat ($9): ground beef steamed dumplings topped with onion sauce and herbs, served with dill garlic yogurt sauce. We each ordered a tall glass of cold Obolon beer ($7).
The food was excellent, as was the service. The music was loud. I even enjoyed the songs I didn't know.
This is our third time (or is it fourth?) at Uma's. Not only is it excellent, but it is consistent. I can't wait to go back. You should go, too. I highly recommend it.

Great choice for eat-in, take-out or delivery (in the summer they'll actually deliver to the beach!). Delicious heros, personal pizzas (chicken bacon ranch is to die for), excellent appetizers and desserts. Very reasonable prices too.

We always go here after our beach trip. Their corn on the cob never fails to satisfy our taste buds. They have a lunch special $10 that has two fish soft tacos with fresh guacamole , rice and beans, which was very filling, deliciously done and good for two people. Their frozen margarita was also good. The place is always clean, the washroom is clean, the place is cozy as well. If you want a filling meal visit this place. It's not very pricey at all. With the quality of ingredients used for my food I don't mind shelling out a couple of bucks more. Who wants to have a bad stomach from cheap filthy restaurants? Trust me this place is the great place to hang out happy hour or for your dinner. Oh you should try their "tres leches" dessert! It's our favorite! If you have a yelp app you can get this dessert 50%off when you check in.

This restaurant, caterer, take out reigns supreme here. It is inventive, healthy, earthy, and wonderfully delicious with a Mediterranean
Spin and French/ European influence with haute cuisine.
I have never tasted a better Turkey burger, ever!
Desserts are sinfully yummy and I dream about them.
Amazing hospitality and kindness abound here.
After THE HURRICANE "sandy" I often took out when my living was displaced

Besides having what may be the worlds largest iced coffee to go, Boardwalk is a great breakfast and lunch to go place....different chicken salads are standouts (Cajun is a family favorite) as are breakfast wraps (Ryan wrap-3 egg whites, Turkey and cheese). Service is great too, friendly and polite.
