The outside doesn't look like much but it was early and we needed breakfast so we went in with low expectations.
It turns out the inside is old fashioned and larger than you would think. The owner waits tables so the service is prompt, the coffee is hot and the food is a great throwback to diners from my youth.
No we go every time we are in Renfrew. Good job!

Coco Jarry's features a large menu of International cuisine, especially Greek dishes (such as Chicken and Pork Souvlaki), home-made pizzas and gourmet hamburgers. Our meals are scrumptious and generously portioned for very reasonable prices. Expect a comfortable, classy atmosphere, including a large patio for summer dining. Local talent are welcomed, so you might just arrive on a night of rhythm and blues or retro selection of music by DJs.
We have come here many times for dinner and have never been disappointed. Our waitress Stephanie always makes us feel welcome. She always has a smile and she goes above and beyond for all the customers. I usually have the chicken souvlaki, and my husband loves the seafood fondue, but has enjoyed the steak, the fish and last night the lasagna. My husband and I have been to many restaurants and we drive from Quebec to have dinner. It is worth the drive. Good customer service is hard to find now a days, but they go above and beyond at Coco Jarry's.
Thank you,
Pauline and Shawn

Service is fine, given the type of place its what you would expect. They are quick to serve you and as long as its not busy wait times are reasonable. But understand it smells like a grease pit, id love to see the condition of the kitchen because I'm sure its rarely cleaned. No money has been put into the place to upkeep the interior and looks like its still in the 80's. As far as the food its typical bar food for the most but i will tip my hat to their pizza. In Fact if you want pizza in Renfrew order from Finnigans. Beer is usually cool but not super cold. We go from time to time but only if we want pizza.

Everyone I talk to says this place is terrific. I'd been here years ago and indeed it was. Home made burger patties that were to die for. Stopped in again recently and was severely disappointed. Had to walk up to the door which was essentially a plywood chute. Ordered a burger and watched them pull a frozen one from a box on the floor. Told me it would be a while. Having already paid for it I waited in the car for a good 15 minutes. Eventually got he burger and it was shoe leather on a bun. Dropped it in the garbage after one bite and went to Wendy's.

Stopped for lunch while traveling through Renfrew. It was very good. We hadn't eaten there in quite some time. General Tao's Chicken was very good and the "C" lunch special was excellent. One of our favourites with the previous owners were Almond rolls, which is no longer on the menu. We mentioned Almond rolls and they offered to make us some since they were not busy. Not quite as good as previously, but very good. Will return in the future.

Clean place with plenty of Seating located downtown. Staff is good and parking is on street or in the lot behind. Good selection on the buffet with dishes keep full. Average chineese buffet fair. Beer and wine available. Prices reasonable. Wheelchair accessible. Would go back.

This is just a plain restaurant in a plain town. Burgers and so on, don't expect anything remotely inventive. I guess that their usual crowd steers them clear of any creativity. Food really tasted like it had just been microwaved.
They did put a slight effort on the overall look of the place, with wooden walls, some decoration, old gizmos etc. That's about all you might remember from this place if you happen to stop there.

The restaurant is nicely decorated especially at Christmas time and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is outstanding. You can purchase some items such as pies from their freezer to enjoy at home. Lots of gluten-free choices too. Go to Renfrew so you can eat here!

We came in for lunch. There were many specials on the blackboard.I chose the whitefish tacos accompanied with a cup of soup and salad @$16.99 My wife had the Caesar Salad. The fish taco combo plate was excellent. The fish was cooked for me.It was very good. The soup and salad likewise. The Caesar Salad was plentiful and bursting with a generous portion of bacon.Maybe it had a tad too much garlic but it was very good.We had a dessert that could be shared. It was a bid slice. The pecan pie was great.Only complaint was the really slow service,it took a half hour to get eating. The place is small and loud so be prepared for noise.

An awesome local pizza experience! Excellent service on the phone and a picture perfect pizza arrived at our hotel door in 30 minutes. The pizza looked amazing and was so hot we had to wait a few minutes to eat it. The pizza tasted amazing - great crust and quality cheese. We were totally impressed with the entire experience!
