Great selection to choose from in coffee, flavors, and drinks. Treat yourself to a smoothie or a malt, try the maple bacon donut, or enjoy the amazing buttercream cookies. Hanisch Bakery and Coffee Shop has something for everybody.
This place reminds me of being a kid and walking into the local bakery with my grandma. It's busy, loud, and the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air. Everyone is pleasant, prices are moderate,
Try the apple fritters and the Stollen over the holidays

While our boat was docked we spent time walking around Red Wing and decided to stop in for an iced cold brew. This is a nice spot; there's an upstairs and downstairs seating areas if you want to hang out. They were really busy on a Sunday late morning, but the staff was efficient.

The current Red Wing Brewing Company (or “Red Wing Brewery”) was founded in 2011 in Red Wing, Minnesota. We make about 6-7 barrels (bbls) of beer per week, and our beer is produced and sold exclusively at the brewery. Two of our beers are historic brands that were made for the people of Red Wing in the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s: Remmler’s Royal Brew (based on the Remmler Brewery’s 1896 recipe) and Red Wing Premium. We are also bringing back another Red Wing favorite as our brewery’s own Root Beer – Good Old Zimmie’s. On tap will be a rotation of additional beer styles that are new to Red Wing and favorites among craft beer lovers. We also serve local wines, a variety of family beverages, and a dine-in or take-out lunch and dinner menu featuring handmade appetizers, pizzas and calzones.
We were at the end of a long day of driving and hiking. The last nice weekend with leaves on the trees and we were not alone. Everywhere we stopped was jam-packed with people. This was no exception. However, we were able to sip a beer while we waited for a table and the table was available in short order. We ordered Sausage and mushroom with fresh tomatoes, and pepperoni and pineapple with jalepenos. Both were fantastic! The crust is among the best I have ever had, and that and all toppings are locally sourced. The result was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The service was very good, and the restaurant exceptionally clean.

Mandy's is an eclectic and comfortable community meeting space specializing in all things coffee. We feature local artists, sell unique & fun greeting cards as well as whole coffee beans. We feature delicious daily artisan Panini and soup combos for lunch.
Do you like a bold cup of coffee? Decent bakery, sandwiches and soups? If you do Mandy's is for you. Small cities generally don't have a good strong cup of coffee. I've been on road trip to find just that and have failed. Mandy's is you place so sit, socialize and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Four of us had a light bite here and we all enjoyed our sandwiches. Service was great as well. The rotisserie chicken was very good.

Our server was super friendly and helpful. They were switching over from the breakfast to the lunch menu as we ordered, so it did take longer than it should have for our food to arrive, but once it did the amazing flavors put smiles on our faces. My husband ordered the Red Wing sandwich with sweet potato tots and he summed his meal up by saying it was "perfection." I had the chicken dinner and besides the flavorful and tender chicken, the calico beans and coleslaw were also delicious. I did note they have 61 beers on tap for any beer lovers out there. Anyone who likes brandy old fashioneds - - I would say to skip them here because for being tiny in size and average in taste, Kelly's charges $8 for one = yikes!!

Breakfast and lunch place except on Friday night until 8:00p.m. for our fish fry. Specializing in home style cooking and breakfast all day.
I know that many locals love to eat here. It is an old fashioned cafe with all the typical menu items one would expect to find. We were on a business trip here, so four of us stopped in for lunch. When the waitress handed out the menus she mentioned that breakfast is served all day. That changed my mind from lunch to trying their Corned Beef Hash which is described as being homemade. The other three people decided to order breakfast as well. Prices are fair and reasonable. The CBH? Well it may be homemade but it is chopped up like they do for the canned stuff. It was just okay.

At a relaxed pace.Experience an authentic British lounge with a night at Jimmy’s Pub. Sip handcrafted ale at the mahogany bar or enjoy a light dinner beside the cracklin’ fire. Jimmy’s is an Old World getaway from life’s hectic pace.
The decor is fantastic old dark wood, with a few panels of stained glass, and a very impressive bar. One of the other recent reviews suggested this looks like an old fashioned gentleman's club, I agree. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a welcome end to hard day of travel.
The food was very good also. A slow roasted beef sandwich really was great.
Although I did not have a drink, they have a great selection of "Single Malt Scotch".
Out the window was a great view of historic downtown Red Wing.
