We have lived in Raymond for over four years and just recently had the opportunity to try the "Local Deli", since we had a gift certificate. First of all, it is small and crowded, most staff have no clue. Secondly, watch the prices, pies for over $12.00, you can actually do a 'bake off' pie from Marie Callanders for about 5.95 at your local grocery store and it would be as good if not better. I just got robbed this morning, ordered two cinnamon rolls and two elephant ear cookies to clear out a gift certificate, would you believe for four items over eight fifty and the cinnamon rolls were smaller than the Pillsbury ones in your local grocery.
Either the locals have no idea or they don't have a clue what a real deli is like with a real bakery. Beware and avoid at all cost.

Stopped in twice last week for an ice cream. I wish that I had more time to try more flavors! Love the Peanut Butter Iditarod and the Red Raspberry Revolution. They have lots of flavors of their creamy, smooth deliciousness! They will open a new container for gluten sensitivity - just ask!

Village Donut Shop and Bakery is a friendly small town donut shop and bakery with everything made fresh on-site daily. Known for our specialty donuts--molasses, blueberry, apple cider, bear paws and apple fritters--as well as the usual favorites. We'll soon be offering our very popular seasonal favorite Strawberry Shortcake Donut. You'll always find a wide variety of delicious scones in our pastry case with muffins, whoopee pies, turnovers, eclairs, cream horns and individual fruit pies. Pick up something to go or if you have the time, sit by a sunny window and enjoy your treat and a hot cup of Green Mountain coffee. We can provide donuts, pastries and coffee for your event up to 100 dozen. Come by, have a donut!
New England may run on Dunkin', but their donuts aren't like they were back in the day! When they stopped making them in the store and started using healthier oils, the quality went downhill.
Thank goodness you can still find a fresh and deliciously unhealthy donut in the Lakes Region. The way a donut is suppose to be! The coffee is pretty good, too.
Best stop in before noon, though. The donut selection runs thin as the day progresses.

Right on Rt 302, the Dugout will suit your ice cream wants! They have so many flavors (hard or soft) that you will be drooling while in line! My favorite is the double scoop of Whoopie Pies on a waffle cone. I have been stuck on that for two years! Someday I will try another flavor, maybe... The staff is friendly and accommodating. Whether its Steph, Sarah, Mike or any of the rest of the gang, you will be satisfied! The dugout by its very name is not only about baseball its about the RED SOX...If you're a SOX fan you will recognize the many of their specialties and their name sake. So if you are a local you know what you're getting or a vacationer you will be back....again and again. Trust me I know...haha!

Stopped for lunch today and have to admit that this was some of the freshest seafood we've had. We normally buy our fresh lobster and fish here but have never had a meal ordered. Since we were always satisfied with the fresh seafood, we thought we would try the food for lunch. All of us were glad we did. I had the fried scallops platter, my wife had the haddock sandwich and our daughter had the fried clam strips platter. Naturally, we had to try each other's meal and all of us were very satisfied with the freshness of each one. Both the scallops and clam strips were very sweet and perfectly prepared. Each platter came with a side of fries and cole slaw. The fries were hand cut and a great compliment with the seafood.
I only wish that we would have tried the meals from Bob's sooner as we would have made another stop prior to flying back home to Fort Myers in a few days, however, we will definitely put this on our priority list on our next trip up to Maine.

Local family operated business in the heart of the lakes region, serving Maine's finest seafood. Shop our seafood market stocked with Maine's popular fresh seafood to accommodate your own recipes at home. Indulge in our seafood restaurant with made to order fresh hand-picked Maine lobster rolls, as well as perfectly fresh fried Maine clams, or succulent fresh fried sea scallops. Enjoy our outdoor seating with a cold beer or a refreshing glass of wine. We also cater, bringing the lobster bake right to you, at the event of your choice. Experience Maine the right way by coming to see the Fishermen's Catch.
Located right on Rt 302 between Napes and Windham. This little A Frame building is seasonal and has both live lobsters and other fresh seafood available along with a small dining area. Also, some seats and tables outside. One side is the fresh seafood, the other is the dining area. Order at the appropriate counter. I have never ordered from the fresh side but they have a nice variety. They do not have a large staff so you may have to wait a bit, but the service has always be quick and friendly. They have the normal fried selections and also serve bottled beer. This a great stop if you are in a hurry or don't want to spend the time at a sit down restaurant.

This is a good restaurant, not great but good. My wife had the pizza and I had the lasagna, lasagna was good but had much better, my wife really enjoyed the pizza I wasn't crazy about it, to each their own. If your in the Windham area it's probably one of the better restaurants.

This is your typical Americanized Chinese take out found in anytown USA. Same menu, right down to the identical over battered chicken tenders served at every one of these places.
Mostly aimed at take-out, there are a few tables for Dine-In. Atmosphere it nothing special. It's located in building shared with the Cumberland Farms gas station next door.
Owned and operated by a middle aged Asian couple, food has always been satisfactory and served with a smile. I think the lady who runs the place knows my order as soon as I come in, as she always thanks me for coming back and knows what I'm going to order!
For typical inexpensive Chinese take-out, Fortune Cookie is a good choice!

You wouldn't know it by driving by, or even on first impression when walking in, but this little place, that looks like just a bar from the outside, is a hidden food gem.. Literally the best breakfast we've had in the area! We aren't locals but we go whenever we are in town and they always make us feel welcome. Try the homemade hash and the pancakes...delicious! The omelettes are huge and never overlooked. Eggs Benedict is also good. Can't wait to go back. My MIL tried the seafood for dinner and says it was great as well.
