At Eatzen we combine a fresh, sophisticated approach to Asian fine dining with the richness of the classic imperial kitchen. Eating together and enjoying the moment is as important to us as the quality and authenticity of our ingredients.
This is probably my top choice for eating out! Even having moved from the area I still travel back here as the food is exceptional! No where for me tops the food and service here.

Saturday evening drinks and a meal with my wife and a few friends.
This is one of those catacomb types pubs, loads of small narrow rooms connected, it has a good atmosphere, comfortable but not modern, stuck in 70's but clean and friendly.
Great atmosphere in this pub, Olympics on the telly contributing to the banter.
This is a good honest Irish pub, what you see is what you get and what you get is good.
There is a small section with 8 cubicles where you can sit for a proper meal but all Seating is suitable for eating and drinking.
Started with mussels in spicy tomato sauce , mussels were huge and a little tough. Ate them but I didnt enjoy.
A €20 delicious 8oz fillet steak was let down by lumpy mash and overcooked onion rings, shame really.
I asked for the steak medium, and it arrived medium, I love when that happens. Diane sauce was delicious. Despite mash and rings I enjoyed this steak, and well worth €20!
SO had a burger again, huge portions and she loved it.
Topped it all off with a bottle of 120 Chardonnay, only €19, great value.
Well worth the visit, sat evening, good honest good value good grub Irish pub.

We visit The Cinnamon Garden regularly enough. The last couple of times we have been somewhat deflated but this past visit was very good.
The staff here are among the best for service, friendliness and great attention to their customers - in fact they could be cloned for other restaurants!
There is always prompt service and drinks arrive quickly, similarly with the food.
We do find the menu a little limited however in terms of choice of starters and for me as a seafood lover - particularly shellfish, I have tried everything on the menu so far and tend to go for chicken.
Overall though a lovely place to eat - not cheap though.

We both booked a table here Saturday for 6.30pm we were staying in the Pillo hotel down the road. The restaurant is very homely as is the staff and the management, you are really made feel at home. The Snailbox is just off the main road to Ashbourne and is ideal if you coming from Drogheda, Ashbourne or even Dublin.
The food here is really top class and has to visited. I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and the standard is always excellent. On arriving we were shown to our seat, it is advisable to book ahead to avoid delay or disappointment. We ordered Feta salad and Salmon with avocado both dishes were excellent. For mains we had Surf and Turf and Haddock and garlic prawns both dishes were superb. The desert menu is the best I have seen in a long time. The owners of the Snailbox really are a credit to the restaurant business as are all the staff. The bar is also a beautiful place for a drink before you meal. Do not pass this place ever again, really worth a visit. By the way there is a great deal Sunday to Friday B&B with two course meal at an excellent price. Thank you guys for a great evening and we will be back.

Have been coming to la bucca chain of restaurants since they first opened.. Always good food and service. Great wings , burgers and pasta dishes., My review is based on visit today and again no complaints about food or service BUT the prices seem to be getting more and more expensive.. Example specials board, €32 for steak special, and most other specials €29.90... might be specials in so far as they are not on main menu but prices are totally overpriced for family restaurant.. oh and the best one €4.10 for a glass yes glass of larger albeit erdinger !

I never noticed The Donkey Shed Restaurant before and I regularly go by the entrance. When I mentioned it later to my Daughter she says it’s great isn’t it. I asked why she kept it secret. No reply.
They do great business and their food is lovely. Well worth visiting.

We were staying at the hotel and purchased a meal deal for the restaurant, I'm glad we did as the food and service was excellent.
The wings for starter were well presented, fresh, hot and delicious, for the main courses the steak was cooked exactly how I asked and was tender and tasty, the burger looked amazing and homemade and my brother said it tasted as good as it looked and my daughter really enjoyed her chicken and mushroom pasta.
The desserts were also delicious and I rather enjoyed the banoffee pie.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us.
Overall was excellent value for money and I'd recommend anyone to give the loft a try.

A little bit of Mediterranean cuisine in County Meath! La Bucca was opened in 2004, by Russell Bailey in Ashbourne to provide family friendly dining to the fastest expanding town in County Meath. Customer demand led to the opening of La Bucca Ratoath in 2007 and La Bucca Dunboyne in 2010. We would be delighted to welcome you to any of our venues to try one of our tantalizing dishes and a glass of wine. Keep an eye out for our daily changing specials, which have a leaning towards seafood but has something to suit every palate. Please remember at peak times booking is essential – especially at weekends. Look forward to welcoming you soon.
I have eaten in both the Ashbourne and Dunboyne branches and always find the staff to be accommodating and helpful. I really like the options on the menu. My one complaint is I don’t get the impression the burgers are homemade on site. I always feel they are a let down and possibly prebought. All other dishes I have eaten are lovely!
