We were the first to arrive on a Thursday night around 5:30 pm. The service staff were replacing bulbs in what we were told were new light fixtures. The maitre'd (or owner? not sure) greeted us warmly and welcomed us to the restaurant. He is the one who told us about the new lighting. Enrique was our waiter and seemed to be the waiter for at least five or so tables - assisted with a large staff who served - and then another waiter jumped in. Very capable, very attentive. It seemed that most of the other diners were regulars. Also in the time we ordered quite a few people headed to the bar. We had the veal osso bucco ($42) which was a Fred Flintstone size portion served with pasta and veggies. Also had the shrimp with wild mushrooms, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes ($23.50) in a pernod sauce with parmesan mashed potatoes and veggies (carrots/broccoli). Salad is included. Also great bread which we did a number on - some with butter and some with olive oil that Enrique was kind enough to offer us. Then had cappuccino ($5) and got several delicious little biscotti. The new lighting created a nice, warm cozy ambiance - not sure what the old lighting was like....but atmosphere is very nice. Tables are far enough apart that you can have a conversation and have it be private.

Love the food and the people! Enjoyed delicious tuna while my husband had chicken pot pie. The portions are plentiful and flavorful. A varied menu with seasonal specials including kale salad and also small corn on the cob. Fish is always a good choice and Irish favorites like bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, and fish 'n chips are great. We frequent this pub cause surroundings, people, and food are the best.

I went on a Friday night when the place was busy. Despite this the service was prompt. My brisket was great but my ribs a bit dry. Baked beans were to die for. Fries were fine but the portion was very small. There was an...MoreHi Complicated Disaster, Thank you for visiting Hot Rod's Real Pit BBQ! Their flavors are unique. Some are very flavorful and some are not. As with all reviews it all depends on time of day, who mixed the batch and the most important the taster him/her self. Everyone has different tastes and this will affect the review.
Always busy and always difficult to park. This is the place for ice cream cakes.

We've been here multiple times and have always had great service and fantastic food. We like sitting at the booths in the bar area, but they have nice dining rooms, also. Our favorites for lunch are the sausage, peppers and onion sandwich on rustic bread, meatball sandwich, minnestrone soup, and the steak and brie sandwich. The portions are large, and we like taking home the leftovers! The owner is very social and we enjoy talking to him.

I love this place if not just for the charm and growing history of this place and the town! Great ice cream - sometimes a bit sweet for my palate, but hey, it is ice cream... and it is creamy and the texture very smooth. Definitely recommend to anyone!

I admit Florence Italy is my favorite place on Earth. Sadly I live in New Jersey and not Florence. I can however get a little taste of true Tuscan cuisine and authentic Italian cooking right around the corner from my very own office. Everything I have ever had out of this shop has been above-average if not better. Definitely worth the trip.

I like this Dairy Queen out of all that I've ever been to. It's old and authentic. The ice cream is smooth and creamy without ice chips in it like the more modern Dairy Queen machines produce. Get the Jack and Jill (Hot Fudge and Marshmallow Crème)

It's a popular steak house and has been here a long time. Off and on over the years I've gone there. If you like steak and are not fussy about it, it is pretty good. Big slabs of meat, often over salted (I don't know why it tastes so salty) done the way you want it. Boisterous atmosphere...nothing fancy. It's very popular and often there are lines to get in. Plenty of parking in the immediate area. In my opinion, its about meat, lots of it, and beer (mostly). It's better than the chain steak houses but it's not fine dining like Ruth Chris. Prices are fair for the quality.

Great variety of great bagels and bagel sandwiches and the egg salad and tuna salad are really good on onion or everything bagels. The cream cheese is excellent. Be prepared to wait at lunchtime but worth the wait. The staff are all business so don't expect any friendly conversation.
