Ate at The Fisherman on a Friday night and thought the food was excellent. Not a fancy restaurant. Good service. This restaurant is recommended by people who live in the area and is worth a visit. We had the fisherman's platter (fried and broiled). Generous portions. The hush puppies were some of the best I have had anywhere.

Six of us ( 3 senior couples ) and all neighbors, that live on the same street, ate lunch here ( at Glencoe) on Friday. Was really surprised that it was not overcrowded. As everyone ordered several different things, heard no complaints and we all were pleased with the food and service. I have only experienced one item that I thought could be different and that is the lasagne. It is made with Italian Sausage, but I feel like the amount of Italian Sausage overpowers the dish itself; I would use less Sausage, because it seems to be more on the chunky side. Otherwise, we have never had a bad meal. Got to say that my very favorite is the Mediterranean pasta. Love everything on the menu, but wonder if having menu ‘ specials ‘ on certain days might be an idea ?

Little Bridge Marina is located on Lake Neely Henry in Etowah County Alabama. There are two restaurants located within the marina. Little Bridge BBQ offers fresh smoked meats and homemade sides and is open 7 days a week. Little Bridge Bar and Grill offers handcrafted pizza, sandwiches, quesadillas, nachos, etc. and is open Wednesday to Saturday. We offer live music Thursday thru Saturday nights starting around 7pm. The marina also sells 100% gasoline, ice , snacks, drinks and cold beer. Come enjoy a cold beverage in our relaxing atmosphere!!
We spent a great evening here with friends and were impressed with the atmosphere, food and beer. There were two separate restaurants under the same name with two distinct menus and two kitchens. My husband and I shared tacos and ordered beer from the bar and grill restaurant. They were great, served in fast food fashion with a package of mayo (that we didn't use) and ... The selection of beer was excellent and included local Back Forty options. We enjoyed our spot outdoors, overlooking the water, but the indoor seating area looked fun and the live music added value. There was a corn hole competition taking place and the energy was super. This restaurant's days and hours are limited to Thursday to Saturday and they open at 4pm. The next day I returned to get something we left and ordered three sides from the barbecue restaurant. The greens and vinegar slaw were both fantastic. The canned and bottle beer selection was very good. Based on the recommendation of a local, I picked up a lb. of smoked Turkey and chose the barbecue sauce. The other option was a white sauce. We had some of it for lunch the next day and it was excellent, moist and flavorful. There was a daily plate specials menu with the entire weeks offerings listed and all looked tempting. Looking forward to eating here during our next trip to Gadsden.

We drive over from Georgia after being told about this place. The posted hours said they open at 4pm (Alabama time) on Saturdays. We arrived about 10 minuets till 4 and was surprised to see so many people already inside.
Josh was our server and after bringing drinks and taking our order brought out a cast iron skillet of corn bread, tub of cole slaw and some white onions. To be honest, could have made a meal out of the slaw and cornbread! We both ordered popcorn shrimp. Lightly breaded and tasted great! We had a ton of left overs and Josh brought us the standard take out boxes... plus a container and lid for the slaw and a bag to put it all in! Did someone say “slaw dogs” for dinner??? We took pictures and sent to friends. They want to come next time! We will try to arrive early and get a window seat to look at the river!

Ms Mary is the sweetest lady! She is like going home to Mama for treats! The food is wonderful! We stopped by and had her homemade chicken salad and brought home fried pies and brownies! Thank you Ms Mary!

We have eaten here several times and the seafood has always been fresh and cooked to perfection. This time was no exception and the service is now up to standard with the food. We both ordered from the specialties menu, the Blackened Tripletail over andouille cheese grits and the Crab Leg Basket. Both were excellent. We had Frios pops for dessert, spicy pineapple and banana bread pudding. They were also great. I didn't realize that we could bring our own wine or beer, glasses or mugs provided. Already looking forward to the next time when we will bring some Back Forty beer or wine! I find the restaurant to be chilly do to the ice packed fresh seafood, so a sweater is advisable for anyone who is cold natured.

Each day, Pruett’s has a different special for that day. Wednesday’s are particularly busy because of the chicken and dressing, which is very popular. It’s usually busy around 12 noon till about 1:30 pm. Of course, you can order anything else, off the menu, should you choose to. Just good home cooking ! Visit their website for more information.

Local Joe's is a BBQ restaurant, Caterer and small Market There are 6 different smoked meats, various sides and baked goods, home made fudge, etc. In addition to a delicious menu, Local Joe's has a variety of products produced by the Amish, small business entrepreneurs and local farmers.
Good BBQ and lots of local foods. They have 4 or 5 different brands of Alabama and Georgia honey. They also have dry soup mixes, jelly and snacks, all of them carefully chosen to represent the best available. Or you can stop by to pick up a loaf of bread, again good brands.

Tried take out for the first time. Great portions, excellent service and the food was incredible. Vegetable Lo Mein was so fresh and Dim Sum Steamed Sai Mai Pork and Shrimp cooked perfectly. Best I've had in years and I've traveled and lived all over the world. Can't wait to return for a dinner experience. A must for locals to try.
