Pyeongtaek (Korean pronunciation: [pʰjʌŋ.tʰɛ̝k̚]) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Located in the southwestern part of the province, Pyeongtaek was founded as a union of two districts in 940, during the Goryeo dynasty. It was elevated to city status in 1986 and is home to a South Korean naval base and a large concentration of United States troops. The South Korean government plans to transform Pyeongtaek city to an international economic hub to coincide with the move of the United States Forces Korea (USFK) to Pyeongtaek. During the Korean War it was the site of an early battle between U.S. and North Korean forces, the Battle of Pyongtaek. It is the location of Pyeongtaek University.

Outside the United States Osan Airbase Main Gate
I had pad Thai and Thai Singha beer with spring rolls for an appetizer. The food and service were both good. I recommend for a casual dinner.

Great selection of kebab (wraps) and other smaller items. Great for on the run lunch as there's not too much place to sit!

If you love meat in particular beef you will enjoy it here. The salad bar is very good and the grilled pineapple is delicious.

We tried coming here for lunch, but had to come back for dinner at a later time. Sitting is limited, so Reservations are highly recommended. Dinner was good, especially the lamb, the tandoori chicken and garlic naan was well proportioned to feed a family. Most of the dishes are spicy, so if you like your food a little hot, this is the place for you. Great food, limited menu items, service isn't bad. You will not be disappointed.

Apparently this place is really popular. It's just your run of the mill budaejiggae restaurant. Nothing set it apparat from any other place except for the unkind waitresses.

Opened in 2013, Spice Village Restaurant uses authentic traditional spices in all dishes, including whole spices, seeds and powders - all essential ingredients in Indian cooking. The menu caters for everyone from the health conscious to vegetarians. Spice Village is the first restaurant to be certified by the Halal Monitoring Committee. Premises have been recently expanded and catering is availabl
Enjoyed all our meals at this restaurant, especially the curries and the naan bread selection. Ask for spicier if you like it really hot - it tends to be on the light side with all the western patrons that frequent it!

I have eaten at The Kitchen Del Vino twice in the past couple years and both times have been a great dining experience. Since it is primarily an Italian restaurant you can get the usual pastas, pizza, and a large assortment of wines. Additionally, they have some mouth-watering steaks on the menu along with a large assortment of salads. The owner is very friendly and speaks good English making it easy to call for a reservation. The atmosphere is exquisite for a special occasion or anytime you simply want to have a nicer meal than your average restaurant. Of course, the cost is a bit more than your average restaurant as well; you can easily spend $50 or more for a dinner for two. The Kitchen Del Vino is the best place for Italian food I have found in the Pyeongtaek area.

North American Sports Pub with hand made pizzas and burgers. 8 taps of draft beer to go along with a plate of ribs or buffalo wings. 4 big HD t.v's playing all the games from NFL to UFC, and NHL to NBA. 2 dart boards and a foosball table will keep you occupied while you watch helicopters land through to the sunset. See you soon.
Great pub food, probably best restaurant in Pyeongtaek for North American food.
Third trip to this area and this place is a great addition to the area. Atmosphere was friendly. Casey the pub dog was very well behaved.
Good beer selection, pitcher of local was $10.00.

For those of you that miss authentic South African food such as lamb chops, homemade sausages and meat pies, please stop by and say hello.
My wife and I had dinner here last evening and I do agree with the majority of other reviewers that the experience was excellent. If you enjoy meat and potatoes, you will like Braai Republic! Everything we ordered was very good and served with care and nice presentation.
I learned what Rooibos tea is. Had it for the first time here and loved it!
Highly recommended. We will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant and delicious meal on a Sunday night. We enjoyed a caprese salad appetizer, maegerita pizza, and aglio e olio pasta. The salad was good, the pizza was tasty (excellent crust), and the pasta was very good. We will return. I’ve added pictures of the menu, our mains, and the location.
