Pyeongchang (Korean pronunciation: [pʰjʌŋtɕʰaŋ]; in full, Pyeongchang-gun [pʰjʌŋtɕʰaŋɡun]; English: /ˌpjʌŋˈtʃɑːŋ/) is a county in the province of Gangwon-do, South Korea, located in the Taebaek Mountains region. It is home to several Buddhist temples, including Woljeongsa. It is about 180 km (110 mi) east southeast of Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and connected by expressways and high-speed passenger railways. Pyeongchang's slogan, "Happy 700 Pyeongchang", is taken from its average elevation of approximately 700 metres (2,300 ft).

Extremely upset with Lotteria's inefficient service and incompetent staff, which is why I'm writing this feedback.
Spent a couple days in Alpensia for skiing over Christmas vacation with my family. On my day leaving, we were taking the bus back to the Incheon Airport at 12:30pm and decided to order take away from this Lotteria. I ordered at 11:44:07 and after waiting for 20 mins which was extremely slow, my buzzer buzzed meaning my order is finally ready. I rushed to the counter as I need to catch the bus, and I asked the man if my full order was there. He said yes and everything is inside the box. So I grabbed it and took off to catch the bus.
However, once on the bus, my wife found out that her chicken burger was missing in the box. We had a 3 hour bus ride to the airport and my wife was without lunch.
For such a big operation which can't even get a take away order right is truly embarrassing.
Attached is the receipt to my order FYI.

I really appreciate the hospitality demonstrated by the owner, Mr Kim. We had a good chat with him about local Korean food and culture. As for the food, the ingredients for shabushabu were very fresh. Having a bowl of rich flavored shabushabu soup after the meal is a luxury in winter. The kimchi pancake is a must-try. I really recommend this restaurant for those who come to yong pyong.

We stayed Yongpyong resort, Pyeongchang, Gangwondo for 4days during our Christmas holiday off. Ski resort were so packed by lots of holiday people from all over the world.
Since we had a couple of meals at the resort, we wanted to try something difference what local Korean people like in this area.
Luckily we met nice Korean who speak very good English and he also visited ski resort for holiday from big city with his family. He introduced us this nice local restaurant where is only 10min. drive distance from the resort. He had a lot of confidence on the menu what this restaurant offer because it is not spicy and not strong spice contained food which only local people can eat.
With his information, we traveled this restaurant without any hesitate. When we arrived this restaurant, it was kind of shock because the restaurant doesn't looks like normal building where selling the food. It was vinyl house and looks very shabby house.
But inside the house, it was totally different atmosphere. Many people enjoyed the food on their table and it was really busy restaurant.
We ordered all kinds food they serve and tried how the taste is..overall - it was excellent.
As a Korean guy we met at the resort told, most of food gaves us mild taste of real local Gangwondo potato, of course - it was really special and particular meal which means you can't have same or even similar taste of food in any of world.
I would like to recommend this restaurant who will visit Korea, especaily Pyeongchang ski resort such as Yongpyong or Alpensia resort.

We went there 2 times in 3 days. Not that there were no other restaurants around but the service provided was superb. Bossam was ok, dried pollack soup was good and spicy cold buckwheat noodles was excellent. Banchan is different than what we have had so far. After our meal, the boss even offered to send us back to our guesthouse which was about 30 minutes, which we politely declined as the weather was perfect for walking. Now that's service.

Stayed in Holiday Inn Resort during my stay in Pyeongchang-gun, and had visited this restaurant 2 nights out of 4. They served good quality Korean barbecue beef (self service) and with very reasonable (and cheap) prices which we can never get this in Hong Kong (or in other places, I guess). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who are going to that area. (Note : only way to get there from Holiday Inn, hotel we stayed in, was by taxi / drive)

‘17년 9월에 갔었는데 평창올림픽때 사람들 많이
가봤으면 해서 적습니다
매우 훌륭한 맛집입니다
더웠을때 갔던 터라 비빔막국수랑 수육시켰는데
진짜 맛있었음. 막 맵지도 짜지도 않은 적절한 그 지점의 양념이 킬링 포인트. 여기에 수육으로 밸런스 잡아주면 또 그레잇.
음식 너무 잘하기에 다른 음식도 먹어보길 추천!

This is at the Yong Pyong Ski Resort.
Initially, we were skeptical about the food quality as there isn't anyone eating there.
We decided to give it a try.
We ordered Cheeseling - chicken pieces coated with cheese. It costs about KW$25,000. We thought it is very expensive for a pax portion. Not until we open up the box of chicken, we realised that it can serve 3 to 4 pax.
It tastes great! It comes with a box of preserved white carrot which serves to cool your body after eating fried chicken.
