Off the beaten track but a great find in the Pottsville area. Small but very pleasant, clean, and friendly cafe. The food is made fresh daily and was very, very good. Would go back whenever I'm in the area. Only lunch menu. Time open is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They make their own potato chips (yum) and french fries (not frozen).

Same as every other DQ. This one has the following downfalls: very limited seating with the few seats clustered in a way that you have people standing in line right next to your table. Its only accessible from southbound side of Rt 61 in a very small stripmall. If you join their Blizzard club online you get some online deals and one for your birthday.

My family and I stop here together and separately almost daily. We enjoy their coffee as well as other numerous items on the menu. Their new Reese's Peanut Butter Square is very delicious. The coffee although is not always spot on, that is the reason for the 4 rather than the 5 star rating. The service staff is always friendly. The one thing I see that needs improvement is the need to control the wait time within the drive thru area. To me this is something that should be quick and convenient although that is not always the case. The waiting is a little long for a COFFEE shop drive thru. Although with that being said I would have to state, "it is worth the wait". Thanks for the convenience of a coffee being made when on the road and in a hurry.

Came here to waste time in between the Yuengling Brewery tour and the Yuengling Mansion tour the other day with my boyfriend and it was a great atmosphere, mostly locals in the bar but our bartender was friendly and helpful. Cool new looking bar with great views. We only got drinks so we couldn’t speak on the food. But a great convenient downtown spot for a drink and dinner.

Plain & Fancy has been around forever. Great donuts and excellent prices keep customers coming back. The only real problem here is the shop itself. The location is somewhat random to begin with, but when you walk inside, you come across a poorly lit, overly outdated, somewhat gross place. Come for the donuts, but don't anticipate a nice location to sit down and eat...

And thank heavens it is good. The food is fresh and tasty, the folks are friendly and the price is fine.
Brick walls displaying local art, a direct sightline into the kitchen (which also allows for a direct scent-line) and a cozy coffeehouse vibe - all's good. My friend had a salad that looked wonderful and my sandwich was the delicious.
The clientele is a bit eclectic - suits from the courthouse and the banks as well as plaid shirts and jeans kept a soft chatter. And it appeared as if everyone knew everyone. There were friendly greetings and hugs and laughter among the waiter/cashier, the suits and the jeans. Definitely good vibe.
My only complaint - they are closed on weekends.

Dinner last night here was among the best on our two week motorcycle trip.
Well prepared cocktails, excellent beer selection.
Gracious informed and efficient service.
Pleasing decor.
Crab cocktail: big pieces of lump meat. Generous serving. Two of us split it. Classic cocktail sauce.
Well prepared Caesar salads. After some disastrous Caesar salads in the South (creepily sugary), these salads were classics.
House special black bass. Sliced carrot+squash, house made warm potato salad, olive and caper sauce. Amazing.
Huge slice of heavenly chocolate cake. More than enough for two.
If we are ever back in Pottsville, we will be sure to dine here.

The food here's what you'll expect from Dunkin' Donuts- if you like Dunkin', you'll like it; if not, you won't. The staff here (with only the exception of the manager, from what I've seen) are great and have a great momentum between them!

You can find anything from Pizza to any kind of pasta dishes at Palermo Pizza & Restaurant. Also try the daily soup selections won't be disappointed. The place is always packed for lunch and dinner so you may want to order take out unless you have time to spend. They do not take credit cards for payment.

A lifetime PA resident, my husband, daughter, and I finally did the Yuengling brewery tour. They recommended a few spots for lunch and we went with Wheel. What a great experience! Unique grilled cheese. You can get one on special or build your own. We had a fabulous time and the total bill was even more amazing! Awesome place!!!
