Only about 5 minutes west of Portsmouth on Highway 52 is this most attractive dairy bar. It is spotlessly clean, the staff is very alert, courteous, and helpful, and the food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. We loved the burgers, footer hotdogs, chocolate shakes/malteds, dipped cones, and beverages ... all perfectly prepared. Lovely picnic tables to eat at as well. The grass lawn is a really nice touch. The golf course appears very attractive as well, and fairly priced, but we did not have a chance to try it out. In short, picture the nicest dairy bar you ever went to growing up, and this is even better. Kudos. Worth a trip out of your way.

Although people I know rave about this restaurant I keep getting taken here and am never impressed. Today it was for lunch. We had the BBQ sandwich which is highlighted on the menu and the Reuben Sandwich. The BBQ was nothing special and the side of slaw was laughable. It was in a plastic condiment container - no more than 2 TBSP full. Chips with the sandwiches meant a small bag of chips. I have tried dinners here before and have also had that mediocre feeling which others describe. And agree the ribs (pork chops) are often dry.

Our family wanted to have a micro-family reunion. Tim Hortons was suggested by my aunt, so we went there.
I am glad we did! I had a frozen hot chocolate and it was amazing!
If you need a quick jolt of caffeine, cold or hot, Tim Hortons is a great source!

Their pastries and cakes are delicious! I had a special cake made for a class reunion and they did a terrific job decorating it just as ordered. The taste of all their goodies is fantastic and prices are the best around.

Anytime my family wants a footer and shake this is where we go. There is a couple of picnic benches but just a lil ways down is Alexandria point where u can sit and enjoy your food while looking out over the river. Wait time just depends on how busy they are but you can't beat the prices.

The locals love this place. Nicely decorated can sit inside or out. The large menu can please anyone. Everything I have eaten has been delicious. It is close to shops and antiques so conveniently located close to Washington House on 2nd Street. Murals are walking distance.

This Starbucks is like most based in a grocery store- limited selection of food items, everything else was fine. Seating is available but only a table or two. Staff has always been appropriately knowledgeable and helpful. My only gripe- they don't offer Starbucks order and pick up option. Not their fault. I am sure that is a Corporate decision as, in my experience all the Starbucks inside a retail store ( Target, Meijer, Kroger) don't offer that service.

Gave this restaurant a go for lunch during a recent visit to Portsmouth. Liked that it is a working brewery in terms of the ambiance. Arrived pretty early and were promptly seated and served a beer. Ordered burgers for lunch and while they were very slow to arrive, they were very tasty. Place definitely got busy for lunch.

This place is a self serve frozen yogurt. They have several different kinds. I tried the salted caramel corn. It was good but that was all I had. You can pick how much you want. I think it would be good to mix favors. Then they have lots of different toppings. Hot fudge, nuts, candy, fruits, a little of everything. Then you just put it on the scale and the price seemed good to me. It is right in the old part of town near the flood wall and all the antique shops. The girl at the counter was super nice.

For a good cup of coffee visit the lofts. The atmosphere is unique and very laid back. You have your choice of several blends of coffee that will satisfy the most critical coffee drinkers. Food is ok but I go for the coffee.
