For a town that was no more than a fishing camp and a few farms fifty years ago, Port Saint Lucie has grown to be a lovely vacation spot. Port Saint Lucie is the location of the spring training camp for the New York Mets. Visit Tradition Field and see how the team is shaping up for the coming season. Then, if you love to golf, head over to the PGA Village, a 51-hole complex with a learning center and historical center. To the east of Port Saint Lucie is the Atlantic Ocean, so you'll want to schedule at least one day for the beach. Port Saint Lucie is also located just north of the Saint Lucie River, so you can explore the beauty of the river region on the St. Lucie River Princess. You'll cruise in comfort and be taken by the breathtaking scenery of natural Florida. The cruise is shaded from the sun and narrated for your education and entertainment. Cruises start in the afternoon, so you can spend a leisurely morning first. You can also explore nature on foot by hiking in the Savannas Preserve State Park. The park also offers canoe trips and guided explorations. No trip to Port Saint Lucie would be complete without a visit to Lily's Cafe. It serves great food at great prices. If you're lucky, Lily herself might be your waitress. If you're feeling more exotic, El Cubanito serves Cuban cuisine in a family atmosphere. Other restaurants include seafood, Indian cuisine, and American cuisine.

We went to Fernando’s Dockside Grille for dinner with family tonight. The food was terrific and we sat outside on this beautiful night, however we waited for 2 hours to get our food. One of our group didn’t get his until we were ready to leave. He got it in a to go box. That was unacceptable. Our group had different types of seafood, Mariscada, salmon, monk fish and sea bass. Unfortunately the wait left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

I’m a member of a local social group and arranged a dinner on a night they are closed. They had a house full of hungry people, they handled it with flying colors. I ordered the heart shaped raviolis with garlic bread. Great meal at a decent price.

Fun, easy breakfast. The smoothies, pancakes and little blueberry “bites” were great. We are visiting from Texas and met up with friends for a long, chatty breakfast. The service and food were excellent.
This is a clean, comfortable place good for large or small groups. I would certainly return. There are lots of menu choices.

Small, cozy restaurant with outdoor seating. We went for the early bird special after a ballgame at the Data First field and were offered a great selection of menu items at very reasonable price. The chicken piccata was delicious, and so were the steak medallions. Our meal had hot bread, soup or salad, entree, and dessert for about $15. The portions were quite generous, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Decided to try this because I'd seen good reviews. We loved it. Three of us were dining and had, lobster, bisque, salmon, and swordfish. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly, helpful, and quick. There was a musician setting up to play at 6 and it was only a Thursday night!. I will definitely go back. You can go in jeans and take the kids. Prices were reasonable, so you can go often.

This place is excellent. The food, help, and the overall atmosphere is top notch. The prices for the food is a little on the higher side but you pay for what you get. We love the outside bar. The bartender, Jessie is awesome. We go there at least once a week to set st the bar. Happy hours is from 2-6 everyday.

My co-workers and I ordered take-out from here and what a disappointment. The prices were pretty high, which would have been ok if the food would have been tasty. It wasn't. The sauces were watery, my co-worker ordered his 5 star spicy. The only thing they did to make it spicy was dump a bunch of red pepper flakes on top. One bite would be chokingly hot, and the next nearly flavorless. I ordered wonton soup, and it tasted like cat food smells. I couldn't eat it. The miso soup was really good. That's about the best thing I can say. Maybe better if you dine in, but we won't be back.

Beautiful resort! Surrounded by Nature. What an amazing vacation! Something for everyone, friendly attentive staff. Club Med once again has exceeded my expectations. Karim the current chief of village added high energy along with the GO’s. The buffet! Wow! Something for everyone and every palate at each meal time. Even though it was spring break with a lot Children around, we never felt crowded. Just a lot of smiley happy faces. Everyone is catered for. The spa was especially good! Very professional with very experienced therapists. We are looking forward to going back to this resort!
