Sandwiched between the Indian Ocean and a mountain backdrop, Port Louis blends Mauritius modernity and tradition. The Caudan Waterfront entices shoppers with fashion, local crafts and live entertainment. Domaine les Pailles, with its 18th-century ox-driven sugar mill and colonial architecture, houses a new casino. Seek out the capital city's vast Bazaar, built in 1828, for spices, souvenirs and a lunch of fried noodles. For great views, hike the pedestrians-only road up Signal Mountain.

Very nice restaurant and well situated in the heart of Port Louis and in one of the main street of the capital. At the back of the restaurant is found the Government Centre and opposite the Government Centre is the Prime Minister's Office followed by the National Museum and the Caudan Waterfront is a five minutes walk away. The foods are very nice as the restaurant serves a new buffet everyday. The Rocking Boat Pub is typically old British style and is an excellent place to relax and have a nice time with friends and family and even for casual business meetings.

I've been there many times, I like the food not cheap but affordable, nice service, decoration and variety of dishes... Well situated but unfortunately can be a bit painful for elderly or those having difficulties to walk since there are many stairs and no elevator.

This is a MUST TRY restaurant- delicious gastronomic food and the best Chocolate cake in town! We had organised 2 birthday parties there , with karaoke, which were so well organised by the Team, and especially by Gilbert Veerasamy who is a Pro! They have special gourmet evenings. Also a good place for business lunch. Highly recommend it.

Cafe, Restaurant and Beer Shop.
Nice little bar and restaurant serving their own Dodo brew along with a huge selection of international bottled beers. Food was excellent, along with the service.

Taste ok but overprized for the quantity and quality of food offered.
Much better to eat seafood at a much competitive prize at Ocean Basket..
The rice served although tasty tiny amount served as one portion...
Should really have an 'upgrade' in terms of quantity served...
No value for money, really...

The only Indian restaurant where they don't serve Daal Makhani. That being out of the way, The food here is good and staff is friendly. The service can be slow at times. Been here more than 100 times and food quality has never dropped. The only thing is if you are not familiar with port louis it can be difficult to find.
