Al Cavaliere Perso tries to keep The elegance of a local tradition for friuli and adds always a touch of freshness and innovation in the cusine: this is our daily challenge !
A good team here, offering top-class dishes in a locale with charming atmosphere and a shady table outside in the quiet street on summer days. The menu is extensive but I'd recommend their picanha, just because I can! Good wine too. Pedestrian only, so park down by the river and walk here.

Traditional Italian pizzeria with special topping variations, located close to the center of the town.
The place is rather dated and a problem if u go with a big group. The tables r one next to the other so u always feel squashed in your seat... If you like thin pixzas that's the right place , and there is quite a big choice of pizzas

Lively little Italian trattoria just off the iconic Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Pordenone. Came here with a tour group of 28 to have a fixed menu, which is not always the best way to judge a restaurant. But this one passed with flying colours. Particularly liked the pasta starter which had tasty spinach ravioli and a lasagne better than any I have tasted elsewhere. The dessert was a huge portion of the traditional Tiramisu, which was remarkably light. Good local wine to wash it all down. The service is good, friendly and efficient; the ambience is excellent. Great place for a meal.

We were referred to this restaurant by a nearby business. It was quite a find. We eat a whole food, plant based diet and the owner/chef went out of her way to make a special meal for us. The vegetables were very fresh . The staff was very friendly and the restaurant attractive. We actually tried to eat there again but it was closed. We will definitely go back. I definitely recommend this restaurant and the staff.

After a very busy day and receiving recommendation from a local friend we entered La Ciotola in Porcia. The warm and welcoming reception by the owner of the place was the promo for a delightful dinner. The starters was delicious, the vegetables were so fresh, the cheese from a great quality and the spicing was very accurate (we took the artichoke salad and order another one right after we finished it). Then came the jewel of the crown – an amazing risotto covered with generous amount of white tartufo (truffle). We were so tired so we didn’t continue to the Deserts. Now we have another reason to hope that our businesses in this area will succeed. Strongly recommended.

I have a home on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where seafood is fresh and abounds...but there is no seafood restaurant there, or in most places I've traveled to, that have great atmosphere, good service, unique and artistic presentation, and absolutely delicious food as Ristorante Al Gallo does! Chef Andrea Spina is a talented chef and his passion for cooking translates in the food his restaurant serves. A friend who was with me and who is a worldwide traveler with a home in Sardegna, said her Fish Soup was the absolute best she's ever eaten! I'm in Pordenone for 6 weeks and have eaten there with my guests on weekly basis...highly recommend this outstanding restaurant! Bravissimo Andrea and his staff!

This is my second visit to Osteria Borgo Ronche and I was not disappointed! The dishes are delicate, refined and absolutely delicious. Enrico speaks enough English to help people like me that speak minimal Italian! The price is very reasonable and the wine recommendations are always perfect! I HIGHLY recommend!

This was the closest restaurant to our afternoon meeting so we just happened to pop in for lunch. I think I would now drive for around 7 hours to get here just for the starter. The San Daniele and grana ice cream has to be one of the most amazing plates I've ever tasted, simply outstanding. Along with the ambience, setting and friendly service this is just an absolutely amazing place. My only regret is we had to move on and we could not taste more, and criminally could not try the wines. However we shall return!

So, here I a back in another part of Italy. Here for a business lunch. We had this local cheese called burrata which resembles mozzarella but is softer and much creamier. Basically it's absolutely delicious. It comes with a simple salad and oils if you want. I had a steak tartare for main which was a tad dry but still very tasty. All washed down with a glass of vino. Really good and a safe bet.

L'osteria è aperta tutto il giorno per un caffè o un buon calice di vino accimoagnato da uno stuzzichino. La cucina è aperta dalle 12:00 alle 14:30 a pranzo e dalle 19.00 alle 22.00 a cena.
Stopped in by chance. Delightful dinner, great service. My Italian not very good, but one of the servers spoke English beautifully and was very helpful and kind.
Started with Gnocci Verdi Con Gorgonzola. Fresh, creamy, delicious. Main course: Lamb Chops with polenta; amazing! Had with a nice Refosco. Will definitely return. I've included pictures!
