Podgorica (/ˈpɒdɡɒrɪtsə/ POD-gorr-ih-tsə; Montenegrin Cyrillic: Подгорица, pronounced [pǒdɡoritsa], lit. "[area] below Gorica [name of a hillock overlooking the city]") is the capital and largest city of Montenegro. The city was also called Titograd (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Титоград, [tîtoɡraːd]) between 1946 and 1992 when Montenegro was part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY), in honour of Josip Broz Tito.

This restaurant is large with indoor and outdoor areas. We tried the recommended roasted meat which was very nice, quite an intense meat experience! The oven roasted potatoes were also good. Large portions, but we should have asked for less (you can tell the waiter how much you want, and we asked for the recommended 600g for two of us).
Unfortunately no room left to try desserts. Excellent service.

This is small restaurant in very centre of Podgorica. Offers great selection of fish menu. Fish is very fresh from local fisherman and you can taste the difference, Nice mixed fish serving for 4 offers really fantastic variety, I would recommend it.

After Reading reviews we dined here. Pleasant service and nice restaurant with stone walls and a wood fire. Food very reasonably priced. The pasta was very average, straight out of the packet, more pasta than sauce, It's a good place if you are looking for a rather bland meal at a cheap place to fill you up

We offer you some new tantalizing selections that have been carefully chosen by our experienced head chef. Come with friends and introduce them to a true "taste of Italy". Welcome into our bakery Sicilia. Buon Appetito!
I visited the restaurant after coming back from Kotor and Budva, oh how i missed Podgorica, lovely food at Sicilia, had the minestrone soup and the chicken steak nature, the chicken was cooked perfectly. The waitress was nice and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere.

Going to a Chinese Restaurant in an out-of-the-way location is always a certain adventure. In this case, Zheng He is a very nicely appointed restaurant in the upscale business district of Podgorica. The décor is nicely modern, understated Asian. The wait staff was very nice, speaking enough English to be helpful. Save for the inevitable aroma of cigarette smoke, it presents a really good face.
Alas, the proof is in the food and here the results are...uneven. We tried to stick to basics. The Spring Rolls were quite good. Cabbage and carrot filled, very thin skin and fried to a perfect, delicate gold. Of the three main dishes, the Sweet & Sour Pork was the best with thin breading on the pork and the sauce not TOO thick or TOO sweet! The lamb and leeks was OK. A bit heavy on the soy sauce, so it was difficult to tell if it was lamb or beef, but the leeks were fresh and the total effect was fine. The stir fried vegetable was the one fail. Mostly cabbage, some preserved Chinese vegetables, some spinach (at our request), but all overcooked and totally drowned in Soy. The fried rice was fine.
So, if you had time to go several times, I am pretty sure your could work out what were dependable dishes and what should be avoided. There is good food here, it is just not guaranteed. Still, after some weeks of Balkan Cuisine, it was worth the change of pace.

Exclusive boutique hotel Hemera with its charming, unpretentious style and refined design lets you enjoy in the understated luxury and unique offer of culinary delicacies.
This place is a cozy island in Pogorica, very modern and stylish, great attitude of the bartenders and the rest of the personnel alike. I had a great drink, a good appetizer and some good pasta. All priced very reasonable for the quality. For whom is coming from the rest of Europe smoking inside of a dining place is sort of disturbing, though, they should limit it to the upper floors.
