We have gone to this restaurant several times. It seems to be a popular place to have a drink. The bar area was very busy and seemed like everyone knew everyone. The food has always been satisfactory. I wouldn't say it was superb, but it wasn't bad either. I haven't found that special dish on the menu yet.

We visited this Williamston icon with friends who live in the area and were delighted with the atmosphere, the friendly wait staff, and the food. Wonderful ribs, brisket, and barbecue! The coleslaw and fried okra are not to be missed and you have a wide variety of sauces to dish on your entree. Endless refills for you drinks, always with a smile, from the wait staff. Definitely will get a return visit.

Wife and I dined here without our kids. Seated right away. Drink orders taken quickly. I ordered a chicken philly sandwich. Wife ordered chicken parm w/spaghetti and a Greek side salad.
Food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. It was hot and fresh. Every tasted great. Wife brought home over half of her meal.
Definitely a place to keep in mind if you want a good meal at a reasonable cost without making the drive into Greenville.

This is a great family restaurant with that family environment. Whether it's after the game, before church, or just when you get that craving for something simple, The Clock is perfect! FYI: They also have drive thru!

Exit 40 @ intersection of I-85 and Highway 153.
Dined here on a Sunday afternoon, around 4:30PM on Mother's Day. Five of us had a 15 minute wait which was the highlight of our experience.
3 boys all got breakfast and seemed to enjoy their meals for the most part. They brought 2 grits but only 1 bowl of gravy for the 2 who had ordered meals that came with those items and the server took forever to bring the missing gravy. Pretty much blew up his meal but he is not a complainer.
Wife ordered a big salad that she enjoyed.
My meal was country fried steak with mashed potatoes, pintos and cold slaw. The meat was tough, dried out, had very little gravy on it and was barely warm. My pintos were warm, not hot which is how they should be served. The cold slaw was fine. The worst was the mashed potatoes that were room temperature if that with a tiny amount of gravy.
Hey, I am paying for the meal and if mine was not good then the rating is going to reflect it. The server had zero personality, it took an extremely long time to receive our food and, again, there was not rush to get a missing item to us.
I kept my mouth shut as to not ruin Mother's Day but I got a crappy meal.

I had a nice fish dinner here, very reasonably priced. The fried flounder I had was very lightly breaded, actually about the lightest breading I've ever seen on fried fish. It was delicious. The side dishes here are made on the premises and there are many to choose from. Portions are generous. The server was very polite, friendly, and helpful, reviewing the menu choices available after she handed me the menu. The place is very clean. My husband said the burger was delicious.

Appears to be a family-owned Mexican diner. The service is quick and friendly. The free salsa w/chips can be had hot or mild...the hot was impressive. The menu is quite large for a small place and they do have beer, wine, and margaritas. All in all, I would say it's a decent value for quality/price and the portions have some folks taking home doggy bags. My chimichangas were good, but my wife's fajitas were great.

I had an opportunity to order takeout from El Sureno.
The food was cooked promptly and came out hot! I got home all of the fixings were in the bag.
The food had good taste, nothing to complain about. They had a descent amount of parking. And even with the heavy rain, quite a few people eating in.
I ordered the Polo Loco. Tasty. Not sure I liked the sour cream mixed in. The rice and beans were good as well.
My friend ordered the beef fajitas. She also said that it was good.
I would give this place another try. For me personally, they only needed spicier salsa.

Just enjoyed lunch today. Chicken pot pie was the special...lots of chicken and gravy...could use a few more veggies.
Mac & Cheese side was definitely home made...nice crust on it...good cheese quality.
Pinto beans side was tasty with pity of juice.
Corn bread could have more flavor of corn.
Came with sweet tea.
All that and I was stuffed and only $5.98.

My son and I ordered our food. 2 meals - one a chicken sandwich w/waffle fries and a drink; other 3 piece chicken meal w/waffles fries and a drink.
What made the visit average is that our fries were not fresh and not hot. Should have returned them but they should only be served hot and fresh. Chicken was typical high quality Chick-Fil-A but when 1 of the 2 components of your meal is not up to par.....the meal cannot be any better than average.
