My husband & I ate at The Pepper Tree for my special birthday dinner. The food was fantastic, we had the soft shell crab & tuna tartare for entree then duck breast & pork belly for main course, both exquisite.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner. The special touch of the table being decorated for my birthday & attentiveness of the staff made our night. I would like to point out the wine is expensive but we are in Vietnam & the music from the restaurant on the beach did slightly spoil the ambience of a very lovely restaurant but the food certainly made up for the overall experience.

The view from the Terrace was spectacular, but that's where the good part ended. My partner's order had meat(we ordered vegetarian), which can happen no problem, but in general food was overpriced for the quality. It's somewhat of upscale restaurant, but something is missing, and my impression was that staff was not happy to be working here.

After weeks of exploring and truly living in Phu Quoc, we decided to set up a spot here where people could enjoy the fresh local food, local and draft beer, tasty cocktails, and especially the beach party's atmosphere by the beach. Soon, we will have a soft opening before Christmas 2016 so please come, enjoy, and give us feedback helping us to improve and making this place great for everyone visiting this gorgeous island. Sunset Beach offers 50 meters of beach line with free tanning chairs and a variety of activities, such as: water balloon fight, jet ski, beach party, and campfire at night. Everyday from 5 PM, we will serve fresh seafood BBQ. Every Tuesday, Pyjama Boat Party come over and having fun with us. Every Saturday is a party day with Voyagers Studio DJ playing from 8PM. Tried this restaurant on our first day and returned twice more. The food is all freshly cooked and very tasty, we particularly liked the pork in claypot. Good service from the friendly family make it an enjoyable experience

Thanks to TripAdvisor we came here since our little guy loves pizza and we want to eat Vietnamese food. We ordered pizza, squid fried rice and bun bo Nam bo and everything was delicious!! There were 3 other tables and all tourists. They called for a taxi to take us back to our hotel since it’s in a small alley. Highly recommended!!

We tried one of the combo dishes, where you get a big bucket full of delicious seafood. It is a bit messy to eat, but a lot of fun and all the seafood was fresh and amazingly tasty. Recommended!

Was recommended this place by our holiday rep and wasn’t disappointed, 10 mins walk from night market.
We came here for our anniversary and had “the works” Slipper lobster, octopus, clams , squid, prawns, rice, noodles plus drinks and it was just over £20!!
Doesn’t look posh or anything but given the fact it’s full of locals it proves it’s good food.
We were so impressed we went back again!

I've been in Phu Quoc for the first time, i've tried many cocktails from Saigon. I could't imagine there have a great cocktail which you can create by yourself.
You just tell bartender about your flavour. I got a wonderful cocktails from Mr. Trung and Mr. Minh. They are very friendly and helpfull. Not only cocktail but also with food are good, too
We have three nights here and we'll come back.
What a wonderful experience!
