Wow!!! Is almost all I have to say but then those that know me know that statement isn't quite true: a group of ladies from our church decided to meet for coffee in town once a week and this is where we chose to meet. This is a WONDERFUL place for all occasions including large groups of 8-10 ( especially when the weather is nice and we can sit outside, a few of us walk to town and bring our dogs on those days). In the winter months we do sit indoors and sort of move chairs around or have a few different groups if too many of us show up. The food here is delicious! Seems like most of us ladies are creatures of habit and order bagels /cream cheese and sliced tomatoes on top. YUMMY!!! We usually share, convenient. The coffee lattes are fantastic. Just ask for light if you don't want it too sweet. Very friendly. Very accommodating. Just the perfect atmosphere for ANY OCCAISION you would want to stop by for. Sandwiches are great, very fresh. All kinds of baked goods. Keep up the great job Villiage Grind oh and please bring back or make some more of your very darling sleeveless T-Shirts for this summer! They are so cute!!!!

We met for dinner at 7:30 we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly, and cheerful. She kept our glasses and cups full. I ordered the Salmon special with The ucheddar cheese soup. My boy friend ordered the Prime rib with baked potatoe n veggies. The food was absolutely delishous. Sorry to say no one had room for dessert. The apple pie looked amazing. There were 6 of us for dinner and we all truly enjoyed the meals.

...sometimes your taste buds can get knocked on their ear. Phelan, Cal. is remote -- the highway that goies into town doesn't come back out. But there's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a strip mall there that knows how to make Mexican. The portions are huge, but more importantly, they are flavorful. I had the Red Snapper Mexico -- and I'm not much of a snapper fan -- and was treated to great flavors. The grilled fillet comes topped with shrimp, scallops and octopus in a red sauce. The abundance of seafood was great for $17.95. My wife had a cheese enchilada (only average) and a beef tamal which she liked very much. Our friend ordered the Chile verde burrito which was good ... and enough for at least two meals.
I had drive hundreds of miles that day. The hotel we stayed at, which we thought was in Phelan, was actually 12 miles outside of town. I was not crazy about getting back into the car and driving a dozen miles more for dinner. But the food at Mexico Lindo brought a smile to this weary driver's face. Given it's remote location, the extensive menu and the quality of the food, it was one of the best meals I've had in years.

When we want a nice meal in a warm setting Blue Ridge is the choice. In Wrightwood, there is nothing else that meets this quality and charm. There is a bar and they will serve meals there as well. We enjoy the white tale cloths and teh service at this Wrightwood classic.

We have passed this place many times and decided to stop in. The murals on the outside have always been a draw. We were met at the door and welcomed in. The service was attentive, the food for me, was excellent ! The decor especially the stained glass windows unparalleled and a joy to look at. It is definitely worth the intentional stop or the casual visit.

Only local Pizza joint in town. Surprisingly excellent pizza made your way. Little on the pricy side. Wish they still had the family meal deal. Very nice owner and staff. Delivery in under an hour (not bad considering the only place in town). In my 14 years living in Wrightwood only had one late delivery and they comped the Pizza. If my waistline could handle it I would eat here at least once a week..lol

Went for breakfast. Friendly people and homey. The coffee is real good and the menu is large enough so everyone should be able to find something they'll like. They sure did at our table. Generous portions and cooked just right. There's really nothing to fix! I even went back to get coffee to go it was so good. Definitely be back next time in town.

We ate here a couple of times while we stayed at the Best Western next door. The food was good, fresh, and hot. The place was crowded; there isn't much room for customers.
