Went for lunch with my daughter while visiting & the fish was great I had a medium size portion & it was more than enough, down at the harbour it feeds the fishing crews as well as the hungry folk of Peterhead it's a plain building , but don't let that put you off , the foods bang on. Will definitely go again.

Booked late and they accommodated my single table with good organisation and communication. 3 course Sunday menu at £24.95 including a good old fashioned carvery trolley.
Great service by the 3 members running the bar and food operation. Nice g and t with the glass being taken to my table when starter was ready. Good melon plate followed by main carved from the trolley, nice beef and pork with lots of veggies (roasts needed much more cooking though!). Finished off by a nice and rather large portion of pud!
Fantastic value and service and it pays to book ahead.
Recommended.

I hadn’t been to the Waverley for a while, went for lunch on Saturday, it was a treat, they’ve changed their menu, still have the offers & they’ve added traditional favourites to the menu, I prefer it that way as I sometimes thought the two for £10 was small portions

Went here for an evening meal, the food was delicious, all homemade and plenty of it. The menu although quite small had something for everyone. The lounge was nicely decorated with well laid out tables. The staff were extremely nice and attentive. Only negative is it is upstairs therefore unsuitable for some people.

My wife and I were invited here for a meal to celebrate a friend's golden wedding anniversary. There were eight guests attending and everyone had a first class meal with excellent service. I would recommend the crayfish and hot smoked salmon starter. The main course I would recommend the mixed grill, for the price paid the amount of food on the plate was exceptional. Can't wait to make a return to this restuarant.

We frequent Laxmi on a regular basis and have never had a complaint about the food.
Dishes are well prepared and staff are happy to adjust to taste of requested.
Prices are reasonable too.
Delivery is quick within the town and the set menus offer good value for money.

Kup-Cake is an exclusive bistro/tearoom situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire in the central square of Peterhead, close to the Harbour. It offers two floors of high quality Seating split into small and ideal business and couples meeting areas. The types of meals and snacks provided range from tea and scones to paninis and light lunches. The business also offers external pre- order catering for businesses and individuals.
We visited late on a Saturday afternoon and we're impressed by our afternoon tea.
The downstairs area is small and we would have struggled to manoeuvre had all the other tables been full but on this occasion had no problems.
Coffee and the white hot chocolate were good although a little expensive compared to others in town however prices weren't excessive.
Fine pieces were exactly that and it was a struggle to resist another portion!

My wife and I had a most pleasant visit to this tea room. It reminded us of the old fashioned standards expected years ago!
The staff were most attentive and well turned out.Attention to detail was very much in evidence.
The lay-out of the establishment was very neat and tidy with cloth tablecloths, proper
crockery and good quality cutlery.
My wife and I look forward to many more visits when we come down from Shetland to visit our family in Peterhead.
Thankyou for a great experience!

Visited last Friday. You couldnt pay with a note as they didnt have any change. Ordered 2 coffees at £2.95 each, waited 25 minutes with no sign of a drink. Had to eventually chase him up. Coffee machine allegedly doesnt always work properly. Nice sofa area with great views of the bay - get there before the local girls with all their kids take over 5 tables for the afternoon. Or forget the coffee and buy a magnum icecream for£1.60 and enjoy it outside away from the madness

Opposite my hotel so several visits over 3 days. Decent real ales and the Scottish breakfast much nicer than the English offering back home ie first rate black pudding and potato cake!Hi Thanks for your review. Hopefully you will be able to come and visit us again soon. If you like the black pudding maybe you would like to try the Haggis. Regards Tara
