I was flabbergasted by the quality of the food offered in this quaint B and B. I order the Filet (steak) and it was probably one of the best steaks I have ever consumed. Perfectly prepared and served with very scrumptious sides. An excellent surprise for a weary cyclist.

Stopped at this candy shop on a whim. From the outside it looks like it would be a cool 'mom and pop' type of place left over from the late 1960s. Expectations were up but not high; upon entering they downright plunged.
We were greeted to the sound of a loud vacuum. The lady was vacuuming out candy bins. Seems like something you should do before opening. We had to step over her vacuum cord to get properly in.
The shop is actually pretty small inside, and the selection of candy rather plain. Their advertising made it seem like they would have strange, creative homemade candies, but most of them were just colored M&Ms, chocolate coins, candy cigarettes -- things that I could find anywhere. Of the homemade candies, there weren't any other than standard truffles and chocolate covered pretzels. All of which were ridiculously priced.
Being polite, I asked the lady if there was anything she could recommend to a first timer like myself. "No." I asked which candies were the best seller? "Not really any." Which kind did she like best? "I don't know." Her answers were short and rude. She didn't even try to sell me her product.
To top it off, the place looked rather run-down, not exactly dirty but not clean. Made me wonder if she was vacuuming out bugs from the bins.

Typical McDonald's food so whatever that means to you. Was here twice with poor service from staff each time. Many people standing behind the counter and only one register open and customers waiting. They also did not call your order number when ready, instead let our food sit there until we went up to inquire about the long wait. Probably would have been better to go through the drive-through.

We'd frequented The Back Porch years ago, but moved out of the area. What a treat to have gotten to return for a memorable Thanksgiving Day meal, with our parents - everything was wonderful, from the excellent and beautifully presented butternut squash bisque soup, and the salad of mixed greens with walnuts and a fresh and delicious dressing, to the sliced roasted Turkey with all the trimmings, all exceptional, and to the wonderful creme brûlée we all chose for dessert! The restaurant is in a lovely old restored building, which feels warm but elegant and welcoming, and the waitstaff are attentive and knowledgeable. Our family had a truly great time being there for such a delicious meal - we can't wait to return again!

Live close to this restaurant, but never been there before. The smoked pork chops were very tasty. And the Gumbo was Excellent!!! Would give New Orleans some competition! We will be back. If you ask for iced tea, you will get bottled, not freshly brewed restaurant tea.

Went to the Keystone Bakery in Monessen last evening. They were 1/2 hour away from closing. But the pastries that remained were tantalizing. The "Fat Tuesday" treats were few, but those that I bought, like the paczkis were delicious. First time I tried Keystone Bakery. Won't be the last.

I have never had the food here, but great view for some drinks by the river. They also have a nice outdoor venue for local bands. Their drinks are a little more expensive than most in the area, but the view makes it worth it

Just a typical pizza chain....nothing different. If you have been to one Pizza Hut, you have been to ALL of them!!

Eat'n Park is famous for the yummy Smiley Cookies as well as the delicious pies and baked goods. They also have a very nice salad bar with wonderful soups. You cannot go wrong with the salad bar as your choice. Breakfast is also very popular at this restaurant. They usually also have a special so that you can order from a choice of meals and the salad bar is included. This is the type of place that you would be happy to find as a traveler looking for a good meal after a busy day.

My husband and I and a friend ate at Randall's restaurant because she suggested it. We got the meatloaf and my husband got the roast beef. I like the restaurant because it had vegetables. It was a good meal for the price. The food was home-cooked and the dessert was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good home-cooked food. The owner of the restaurant is a very nice lady. She came over to our table to meet our friend Hazel. I will give this restaurant five stars.
