We discovered this restaurant last year when we were up for the races. We remembered the Prime Rib special on Saturday night and made reservations (recommended). A year later the Prime Rib is still very good and we both enjoyed it a lot so much so we made reservation for the following night, Sunday night. My boyfriend had the ribs and thought they were very good but more like a half rack then a full rack and a little spendy for a half. I had the almond crusted walleye and it was very delicious. My only complaints would be the noise level of the restaurant, the first night we were seated by a table of ten and a very full restaurant and the noise was very loud. The second night started out quietly but soon a table of nine were seated along side us with a table of six to follow. The noise echoes and everyone is talking at the top of their voices and you can barely hear your companion from across the table. They need something on the wall to absorb the sound. My other complaint is once the waitress gets involved with her large tables, you kind of feel forgotten when there is just the two of you. This is not a place for an intimate dinner with your S/O.

Good coffee. Good choice of a variety of snacks (but they are very large). Nice ambiance - relax in couches or comfy chairs.

Went thru the drivethru for an ice cream treat. A friendly, funny voice came through the speaker and made me laugh. What a great sense of humor and making the work place more enjoyable!!
Ice cream treat was spot on and the service was excellent. Do not live in the area, bu will return when I am.

This is the best coffee in town. Lattes are perfect. You can still taste the coffee. The maple latte was wonderful. All the scones are wonderful as well as the baristas. Thankful for this new location. I can now enjoy Stonehouse more often. The patio outside is great for spring, summer or fall coffee.

Small restaurant but big taste in food. This is our favorite pizza place in the Brainerd Lakes area. Lots of flavor in the sauce, plenty of cheese, plenty of toppings...nothing skimpy on the pizza.
What we really like is the outside patio where your pizza can be delivered right to your table.

We were staying at Breezy Point Resort so we went to Dockside for Pizza. Very large pizza! I think we had 3 meals out of it. It was ok as far as pizzas go. The best thing about Dockside is the entertainment. We went here on a 2nd night after golf and had a blast. Very crowded! There was an Elvis impersonator outside by the lake and a band inside. Elvis was ok but the band "Tammy and the Bachelor" was very good.

We wanted a break from Breezy Point Resort on a rainy day, so we headed into Pequot Lakes to walk around. Found Lucky's for lunch, our server was super friendly and answered all our questions. Got in on the 2 for 1 happy hour (our state laws don't allow these) and ordered the kids some incredible homemade pizza rolls. Great fried pickles and chicken wings too (buffalo style but not drowned in sauce and very meaty). We had so much fun we came back a second night and had a blast participating in the "Meat Raffle"! Thanks for the fun!

Looking for some good coffee in Pequot Lakes you will find it at Latte Da. The make an awesome Almond Joy mocha and have a good variety of other specialty drinks. My wife and son enjoyed the cool gift shop attached which offers some cool local gift options.

We used to take our friends there but since they lost (changed?) their host and our favorite waitress, their attitude seems to care less if we return or not. The first disappointing time, I thought it was just a bad day but the last 2 times it was no better. The food quality has also gone down. I hate to speak so poorly, as it's so close to us as the atmosphere and setting on the golf course is beautiful. We will continue to go there less frequently but to me they've lost their bragging rights.

Cru Restaurant and Wine Bar features a vast cellar of over 2,000 bottles of worldly wines and offers over 20 wines by the glass. Cru's decadent fare capitalizes on local and regional flavors. At Cru, rich decor creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, providing the perfect dining experience for a romantic dinner or a casual get-together with friends.
Great meal, great service and incredible wine selection! We were excited to try Cru since it is so highly reviewed and rated. It did not disappoint. We had salads, crab cake for apps, drinks and wine. For main courses, they have a kids menu with excellent mac/cheese and we had steaks and various side dishes. You can get many diff types of sauces on the steaks - very classy and tasty. Crab cake was EXCELLENT.
Wine cellar is huge with 2,000 selections and you are encouraged to go into it and pick out your bottle of wine - very classy!
Our server was Heather and she was dynamite. Very friendly, bubbly and attentive. She welcomed up promptly and served us very well. She made excellent recommendations too. Our water glasses were never empty and tables were cleared quickly when patrons were gone.
Overall a very nice experience and happy to come back any time we are in Nisswa or Grand View. Thanks Cru!
