This is like walking into a typical small French restaurant. The choice of dishes is small, 4 starters, 4 main courses and three desserts plus cheese. Everything was good, my husband had the cassoulet and I had the duck confit. The sorbet with calvados was delicious. Our bill was just under 70 euros and we had half a litre of water, two carvas and one glass of wine with our meal. I just had a main course but my husband had a three course meal, I just tasted everything.
The place is small and the owner had to send away a few people when we were there (Tuesday evening) so make sure you book in advance. It is not openend late.

Compared with other restaurants in Tongeren, this is probably the best price/quality in town. We took the surprise 4 menu with adapted wines for €75 and really had a wonderful experience. It was worth every cent and penny. Quality of food, drinks, service and atmosphere: all where top! Full of locals also, to celebrate special occasions. Go there and you will see.

Le 54 is a small, pleasantly styled restaurant (about 24 couverts). Apart from having to choose from an Italy-oriented wine list, the only thing you need to decide is whether to opt for a three (38 Euro), four, or five-course (55 Euro) dinner. We opted for the full monty. Each dish, including the amuse, was refined and nicely presented. The only drawback was that the whole meal took about 3 hours. But given the quality of the dinner, we did not regret going to Le 54 and having to wait for so long. Reserving is recommended.

A bit out of town, but really well worth the journey!
Creativity, taste, beauty, surprise, these all words to describe that cooking.
The journey you will follow will be classical, atypical, new... a real treat!
The chef is young, friendly and likes to please others... you can feel it in his plates.
This address is to be discovered!

Six course tapas menu for 27 Euro - great deal. First course - foie gras hamburger with semi sundried tomato and ham. Second course - pastilla of cheese and capsicum compote. Third - prawns with chorizo. Fourth - fish with olive paste and tomato and onion relish. Fifth - marinated chicken with balsamic and roquette. Final - honey dew melon dessert. Normally we are not a fan of honey dew melon but this dessert was perfect!
Owner/waiter (Badoc Ron Ron) was great - funny, spoke more english than we spoke french and recommended a great wine to accompany our meal. Definately a highlight of our stay in Liege.

This is the best Bulgarian restaurant out of Bulgaria for sure. I must say that it can compete with the best restaurants IN Bulgaria as well. The food is as good as my grandma's food and the service is excellent!! I'll come back tomorrow and the day after and every time I visit Liege.

13 dishes + wine for about 100€ pp., in a clean, quiet place.
But 13 incredible dishes, with unique tastes and audacious mariages, all presented in an elegant, well-thought way. This is not just a lunch, it is an experience.
Service is perfectly timed, 2 hours for the 13 dishes. Amount of food is well thought, too : you eat very well, but not too much - not starving like you could in some high gastronomy places.
The chef choses fresh, local products to enhanced his meals.
Wine is perfectly chosen.
Staff is smiling, yet reserved.
The restaurant is lost in some old small village, about 20mins far from the nearest highway.
Advice : if you want a quiet place, prefer lunch during week days. If you're looking for a friday evening... make your reservation soon enough !

Not the best Greek restaurant in Liège but a good one anyway. It tasty and the service is okay. Come for diners on Fridays and Saturdays and they will break plates in front of you. No kidding, it's for the show ;-)
