We have eaten here several times, and the food is always great. The portions are large and just about every sandwich and entree comes with soup as well. The prices are very reasonable. The best part is the extra friendly staff. Each time we come here, the servers go out of their way to make our evening a pleasant one! I will continue to dine here and would highly recommend it to others!

Terrific place for breakfast- hometown feel, incredibly pleasant welcoming staff, and a very nice breakfast (we had the vegetarian omelet and veggie scramble) at a very reasonable price. Well worth driving off the highway a couple of miles to get a bite on the way to or from the Chicago area on I-57!

Frankies has been doing business for thirty years which is a good sign. The pizzas are delicious. The calzones are the best we've ever eaten. There's plenty of Italian dinner choices as well as a large variety of sandwiches to choose from. Good beer and wine selection too. The interior is comfortable, very home like and casual. If you're looking for some great food then give Frankies a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is such a cute little place, great for kids. Not only do they have GREAT ice cream, but they have games and books for you while your there eating your ice cream.

I really wanted to like this place but I didn't. This could be a quaint little diner but it falls terribly short. It starts the minute you walk in, the place is dusty and dirty. A waitress comes by and tells me to grab a menu and a ticket and follow me. She does this with sort of a joking manner but I found this off-putting. She seated me and told me that another waitress would come by and get my order then she walks away yelling the other waitresses name and announcing that she has a table. I sat down in the lumpiest booth seat I've ever experienced. The waitress came by and asked me if I needed some time with the menu which I did. She gave me a 3x5 card with the specials which looked like it had been on the floor in a pool hall and then left. She never returned to my table. Another waitress came by and I asked if it was always this cold in the restaurant
as I was freezing. She told me "its cause you aint moving". I finally had my order taken and I again complained about the cold. She didn't respond. After about twenty minutes after I walked in the door and about seven minutes after I drained my first cup of coffee; I still hadn't been served. The restaurant wasn't busy but there were locals in the place and they got their food rather quickly and the waitresses were busy socializing with them. I got up threw a few dollars on the table for my coffee and left. I went by two waitresses as I left and neither one asked me anything. I think they were glad I left. I guess the only money they care about is that from the locals.

First, the food is very good and fresh. But kind of high price for a burger place. They do NOT serve breakfast all day which is a definite minus. Breakfast ends at 11a.m. and don't try to get it at 11:01a.m., you will be told it's too late.

Good thin crust pizza but they also have quite a variety of sandwiches and broasted chicken on the menu. Nothing fancy just a good local diner.

Diverse menu with outstanding Chicago style pizza.
We enjoy Anthony's. Their pizza is delicious and on weekdays they have a fantastic lunch buffet. Friday nights can be pretty busy and they sometimes have a live piano player. There is also an outdoor seating option that can sometimes get a little overwhelming with al the cigarette smoke. Otherwise a great restaurant!

Service was good and prompt. Food was on the spicy side...especially the salsa and enchilada verdes. Guacamole was excellent and the chicken quesadillas were tasty.

Went here kind of on a lark for dinner on a Sunday evening. Decent service, good beer, but really, you're coming here for the incredible pizza! I recommend the Tough Guy, with tons of garlic and meat. It's awesome!
